In the upcoming weeks, various games with extended production periods are set to release, but among them, “Lost Soul Aside” by Ultizero Games, seems to have taken the longest to develop. Since its inception in 2014, it is now available globally. You can watch the launch trailer below. Moreover, a free demo is currently active, offering two boss battles as well as some weapons and abilities for testing.
In Lost Soul Aside, the game’s style is largely inspired by iconic titles such as Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, and Bayonetta, particularly in its combat system. The story revolves around Kaser, a resistance fighter on a mission to rescue his sister Louisa, whose realm has been invaded by the Voidrax. To aid him in his quest, Kaser allies with Arena, a formidable entity. What sets Kaser apart is his ability to yield four distinct weapons: Sword, Greatsword, Poleblade, and Scythe, each offering unique abilities and combos for engaging combat.
In addition to their abilities, arenas can introduce extra power-ups like creating towering spikes under foes, unleashing potent energy bursts, or even launching a whirling claw strike. For further information, check it out here.
The game titled ‘Lost Soul Aside’ is now playable on PS5 and PC. For further details, you might want to explore our feature piece, or take a look at the enhancements made in the initial update.
