Yooka-Replaylee confirmed for Switch 2, launches October 9

On October 9, the video game titled Yooka-Replaylee is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2, and PC via Steam for a price of $29.99. Developer Playtonic Games made this announcement. If you prefer a physical copy, you can get one that includes special retail items for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 editions. The Switch 2 version will even come with the full game on the cartridge for $49.99.

Individuals who currently have the authentic version of ‘Yooka-Laylee’ can acquire the digital variant of ‘Yooka-Replaylee’ on the same gaming platform or console system, and will receive a discount of 30% off on their purchase.

According to Gavin Price, the studio director at Playtonic Games, Yooka-Replaylee was designed to stand out on any platform. He’s thrilled that it’s available on the Switch from day one, as it holds a dear spot in their hearts (and hands). It’s larger, more vibrant, bolder, and filled with intricate details they’ve long desired. They can hardly wait for players to dive into the game.
