This week left Emmerdale viewers stunned as it turned out that Mackenzie Boyd, who had been believed dead, was actually a prisoner in the hands of John Sugden instead.
Presently, it appears that Mack’s narrative may be taking a more ominous turn, as sneak peeks for the upcoming episodes next week have surfaced, offering tantalizing glimpses into what lies ahead.
According to Digital Spy, one of the scenes finds Mack stirring awake in an undergound shelter, feeling bewildered and restrained on a bed.
When experiencing memories that led him there, John approached the individual and assured him to stay composed, explaining that his intention was to aid him.
In my humble opinion, as a film enthusiast, Mack lays it all on the table, confessing to John that his actions were aimed at John’s demise, mirroring the fate he meted out to Nate.
The mentioned clip is taken from the episode that aired on Monday, 1st September. Another clip hails from the episode on Wednesday, 3rd September, where John’s sibling, Robert, begins to suspect him again, noting the striking similarities between Mack and Nate’s vanishings.
Will he be able to uncover the truth and find where John is keeping Mack before it’s too late?
For quite a while now, fans have been eagerly anticipating the day when the villainous John would finally face his due punishment. Recent reports hinted that actor Oliver Farnworth might be leaving the show soon, potentially implying that John’s comeuppance could happen very soon as well.
This year, it emerged that John was responsible for both murdering Nate Robinson and arranging life-threatening situations for multiple characters, all with the intention of appearing as a hero.
It appears that he’s helping Mack again, seemingly saving his life, but since he’s not getting tricked this time, it won’t take long before he turns to a much more dangerous strategy.
