Even though I didn’t catch The Accountant 2 when it was playing in cinemas, it was still among the films from 2025 that I intended to watch. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to log in to my Prime Video account to stream Ben Affleck’s latest movie, and I had a pleasant viewing experience, finding Affleck rather amusing in the film. Nevertheless, it’s hard not to be frustrated that The Accountant 2 didn’t tie up one of the loose ends in Christian Wolff’s character arc.

Towards the movie’s latter part, when Braxton, portrayed by Jon Bernthal, discusses his supposed contentment being alone (unaware of the feline companion he’ll soon find in Juarez), Christian expresses a desire for someone to reach out to him. This adds a touch of melancholy as Christian didn’t manage to form a connection at the dating event, but luck swings in his favor swiftly. During this time, there’s no indication that Christian seeks out another woman or even shows interest in dating again.
