Chase Chrisley doesn’t want any unsolicited advice from his sister Savannah Chrisley.
As a devoted supporter, I find myself compelled to share that approximately eight months ago, I learned about my 29-year-old brother being identified as a suspect in an incident at a sports bar in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, I felt it necessary to speak up and express that for years, I’ve been urging him to curb his drinking habits.
Savannah, aged 28, expressed her concern during the September 1st episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, stating that Chase’s actions seem to worsen, causing further harm to their relationship. She shared that she had attempted to assist him before his arrest and even arranged for him to attend a rehabilitation center.
But before they could get him settled at rehab, Chase seemed to have a sudden change of heart.
She mentioned that he already had a flight booked for him. They had completed all necessary paperwork, but then he unexpectedly became rude and said, ‘I don’t want anything to do with you.’
In his own words, Chase stated to the cameras that he has never attended rehab, and at this point, he doesn’t seem to have any immediate plans for it either.
He acknowledged during the episode, “I don’t believe I’ve had a necessity for it.” He clarified, “I’m not someone who drinks daily, nor do I wake up with a desire for alcohol or a craving for it. When I drink, it’s on occasion.
However, his sister is not completely convinced.
Savannah expressed doubt, saying, ‘No, I don’t think so.’ Her reasoning was that if he truly was what they claimed, he wouldn’t appear the way he does. It’s simply a reflection of reality – he doesn’t look healthy. When under public scrutiny, he can put on an act for as long as necessary, and that’s the concerning aspect.
What does Chase remember about the January event? In the 911 call aired during the show, Marty stated that Chase had a physical altercation with one of the managers at the bar and apparently slapped him. However, the reality star refutes this claim, asserting that he was not involved in any kind of conflict.
Chase stated that he never intended to strike someone. Everyone present affirmed that he did not physically harm anyone. However, the situation eventually led to him having his photo taken for a police mugshot.
In the police report, it was stated that Brandon Nash, the bar’s manager who was the victim in question, claimed that Chase had become heavily intoxicated and subsequently behaved in a disrespectful and aggressive manner.
In this rephrased version, I’ve tried to maintain the original meaning while making it more conversational and easy to understand:
Chase, denying the allegations via his legal representation, faced charges for a misdemeanor battery offense. Subsequently, he was granted a $10,000 bond and released from custody.
Simultaneously, Chase’s parents, Julie and Todd Chrisley, who were then in prison due to tax evasion and wire fraud charges (later pardoned by President Donald Trump), also offered their perspective on the situation.
On the Lifetime show, Julie conveyed that one of the most dreadful thoughts for a parent is imagining their child moving towards a harmful or negative direction.
His dad echoed Julie’s sentiment.
Todd stated, “I wasn’t surprised, as I’d been advising Chase for quite some time to quit his drinking habit. A tavern wouldn’t bring him any luck.
For a deeper dive into the Chrisley family tree, keep reading…
Todd Chrisley, affectionately known as the head of the Chrisley clan, hails from Georgia, born in April 1969 and raised in South Carolina. He was previously married to Teresa Terry, with whom he had daughter Lindsie in 1989 and son Kyle in 1991. After their separation, Todd wed Julie Chrisley (born in South Carolina in January 1973) in 1996. Together they expanded their family, welcoming children Chase, Savannah, Grayson, and adopting Kyle’s daughter Chloe. They also experienced hardships, including Julie’s 2012 battle with breast cancer (now cancer-free).
Before delving into reality television with the show “Chrisley Knows Best,” Todd made most of their wealth through his real estate business, while Julie worked at a bank prior to their relationship. This popular series chronicled the family’s journey through highs and lows, as well as their luxurious lifestyle in Atlanta and later Nashville.
The show ran from 2014 to 2023, giving birth to spin-offs like “Growing Up Chrisley” and “What’s Cooking With Julie?” along with other media ventures such as the family members’ podcasts.
In 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud and tax crimes, and faced sentences of 12 and seven years in prison respectively. However, they maintained their innocence. In May 2025, President Donald Trump granted them pardons, freeing them from prison.
Lindsie Todd’s eldest child, born in September 1989, is her daughter from her marriage to Teresa. She studied at Georgia State University, where she met and later married Will Campbell in 2012. Their son, Jackson, was born that December. The reality show “Chrisley Knows Best” premiered two years later. Lindsie featured on the series for five seasons, during which viewers witnessed tension between Todd and Will. In 2016, she and Will filed for divorce, and she left the show in 2017.
In subsequent years, a rift developed between Lindsie and her family, with a public reconciliation not taking place until 2022 through crossover episodes of their podcasts. However, this reunion was short-lived, as by March 2025, Lindsie stated on her podcast “The Southern Tea” that she hadn’t seen her father for a significant period and also confirmed being estranged from her siblings.
Speaking on Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s podcast, “Cate & Ty Break It Down”, in April 2025, Lindsie expressed that while they might coexist and do similar things, they don’t necessarily agree or align with each other. She added, “It’s no hate, it’s no ill will; we just don’t serve each other in each other’s lives.”
Following Julie and Todd’s pardon in May 2025, Lindsie expressed optimism on Instagram Stories, saying, “With God all things are possible.”
Kyle, born on the 19th of August, 1991, is Todd’s oldest son from his previous marriage to Teresa. In November 2012, he became a father to daughter Chloe, with ex-partner Angela Johnson. However, in 2016, Chloe was adopted by Todd and Julie.
Kyle only appeared on the first season of Chrisley Knows Best (with a brief reappearance in 2021), but his troubled past, including stints in prison, strained relationships with family, multiple reunions, struggles with addiction, and mental health issues, have often made news headlines. He openly discussed his sobriety in a Facebook post in 2019.
In 2021, Kyle married Ashley Nelson and became the stepfather to her children Haiden and Mackenzie.
Regarding his relationship with Todd and Julie, he expressed optimism about reconnecting with them upon their release from prison. In May 2025, he told TopMob News, “I know they can’t wait to get home and just be with family, and I’m going to remain hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.
Chase, Todd Chrisley’s firstborn, entered the world in June 1996 together with wife Julie. On the popular TV show “Chrisley Knows Best” and its spin-off “Growing Up Chrisley,” where he appeared alongside his family members, he made a name for himself from 2019 to 2022. His sister Savannah joined him in this endeavor.
Before, Chase was involved with Emmy Medders. After their breakup and reconciliation, they called it quits in 2023. In the same year, he started dating Jodi Laine Fournerat. Their relationship is often highlighted on his Instagram, along with images of him and his grandma Nanny Faye Chrisley.
Following his parents’ incarceration, Chase spoke about how he and his siblings grew closer. He shared with “Extra” in 2023 that they had become even more united. “We’ve definitely gotten a lot closer,” he said. “When you get hit with something like this, I feel like a lot of people either separate and go their own ways or they cling together, which is how we were raised. We’ve clung together and we’re still fighting.”
In January 2025, Chase encountered legal trouble in Atlanta when he was arrested on a simple battery charge for reportedly becoming “very drunk” and slapping a bar manager after being asked to leave, according to police records obtained by TopMob News. His lawyers clarified to “People” that the incident had been exaggerated.
“He did not assault anyone,” they stated. “Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave. We will be independently investigating the situation.”
Besides his TV appearances, Chase is also an entrepreneur, launching a candle brand and roofing company.
Todd and Julie became parents to daughter Savannah in August 1997. In her youth, she participated in beauty pageants and was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 2016. She later competed for the Miss Teen USA title, and appeared on numerous reality and competition shows like Chrisley Knows Best, Growing Up Chrisley, The Masked Singer, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Savannah is also a real estate agent in Tennessee, the founder of Good Girl RX, host of the podcast Unlocked, and has been a guardian to her siblings Grayson and Chloe during her parents’ imprisonment.
In her personal life, Savannah got engaged to hockey player Nic Kerdiles in 2019 but the couple broke up the following year, and he tragically passed away after a motorcycle accident in 2023. She later dated Robert Shiver, but they split in April 2025 after around two years together.
At the 2024 Republican National Convention, Savannah emotionally expressed that 72600019 and 72601019 were significant numbers to her because they represented her parents’ identification numbers while incarcerated in the federal prison system. After Donald Trump granted a pardon to her parents, they were released from prison, and Savannah shared footage of their homecoming on social media with a caption “Reunited and it feels so good.
Grayson, Todd and Julie’s youngest son, became known to the public in 2014 when the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best” aired. Now studying at the University of Alabama, he often gets recognized on campus. In an interview on Savannah’s podcast “Unlocked” in February 2025, Grayson described the attention as overwhelming.
After Julie and Todd went to prison, Savannah took custody of both Grayson and his sister Chloe. In July 2023, Savannah wrote on Instagram, “I am their sister, not their mom or dad, but I get to love and guide them through life.” She continued, “Being a bonus parent is challenging, no one can replace their parents, but Grayson and Chloe have shown me so much love, patience, grace, understanding, and appreciation. Helping to raise these two kids is the hardest yet most rewarding job I will ever have.”
Over time, Savannah’s bond with Grayson grew stronger, and for his 18th birthday in May 2024, she wrote on Instagram, “Many think I saved him, but little do they know… YOU saved ME.
As the grandchild they adopted four years after being born in November 2012, I am Chloe – affectionately known as CoCo by my family. Todd and Julie, who initially became my grandparents when my father Kyle had me with ex-partner Angela Johnson, have been a significant part of my life. We’ve shared our journey together on ‘Chrisley Knows Best’.
Julie once expressed her love for me on Instagram in 2018: “My heart! This child brings so much happiness to our family. What did we do without you?” My growth has been a ‘biggest blessing’ to my aunt Savannah, who took over as my guardian when Todd and Julie entered prison.
For my 11th birthday in 2023, Savannah shared heartfelt words on Instagram: “Watching her grow has been the biggest blessing of my life… she has QUITE the personality! I wish I had her humor. I wish I had her carefree spirit. I wish I had her heart. She is everything that I hope to be one day! There is not a day goes by where she doesn’t reach me something new. Because of her… we are all better people! I love you sweet girl! KEEP SHINING! NEVER GIVE UP! And ALWAYS KNOW… I AM HERE for you!”
After Trump granted Todd and Julie a pardon in 2025, my aunt expressed how excited she was to bring them home: “Chloe is still in shock and doesn’t want to get her hopes up because she feels something bad might happen. But I’m excited to be going to get my dad and bringing him home to her,” Savannah shared on News Nation.
Faye Chrisley, affectionately known as “Nanny”, is Todd’s mother. In a heartfelt Instagram post for Mother’s Day in 2021, Todd expressed his gratitude towards her, saying, “I am incredibly blessed that God chose you to be my mother. I love you more than words can express and you fill my heart with love, hope, faith, and confidence.”
Born in September 1944, Nanny was raised in South Carolina. She married army veteran Gene Chrisley, and together they had three sons: Todd, Randy Chrisley, and Derrick Chrisley, the latter of whom passed away as a baby. Gene also passed away in 2012.
On the reality show Chrisley Knows Best, Nanny won over fans with her wit, fun times with her sister Frances (who passed away in 2022), dating escapades, and advice. Whether she was gambling at the casino, enjoying a glass of wine, or spending time with family, she showed viewers how to live life to the fullest.
Nanny has faced hardships as well. In addition to Todd and Julie’s convictions, Nanny was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2021. However, two years later, she shared that she had overcome her health battle. On an episode of Lindsie’s podcast The Southern Tea, as reported by People, she stated, “I’m in remission, thank God. I’ve been out moving around, doing the best I can.”
In the face of life’s challenges, Nanny has always adopted a resilient attitude. As she put it on Savannah’s podcast Unlocked, “The world doesn’t always deal you a good hand, so you play with what you have as best as you can. You get up, brush yourself off, and keep going.”
