Christina Haack’s Ex Josh Hall Says She “Lacked Class” During Divorce

Josh Hall is sharing his truth. 

A week following the conclusion of his divorce with Christina Haack, the realtor pondered over her choice to disclose information regarding their separation.

In his interview with the Daily Mail on September 2, Josh stated that he found it inappropriate, to put it mildly. He didn’t wish for a public dispute with all its back-and-forth exchanges. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, people have only heard her side of the story. Therefore, he feels compelled to share his perspective now.

After filing for divorce from the HGTV star in July 2024, Christina has alleged that Josh illegally moved funds into his personal account without her consent, labeled the settlement as less than satisfactory, and subtly criticized him online.

Josh underscored his viewpoint that although he and Tarek El Moussa (who has children Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9 together, and Hudson, 5 with ex-husband Ant Anstead) are often seen as public figures, he feels that divorce should not be a matter for public scrutiny.

He stated that he believed it was uncalled for… and to clarify, he mentioned it’s childish behavior. He suggested collaborating, but acting immaturely on social media platforms, like a teen in a temper tantrum, is not his approach.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Christina for comment and has not yet heard back.

Josh, who is 44 years old, had originally asked for spousal support as part of his filing. However, this was met with opposition from Christina, who is 42, as she also filed her own response. Eventually, Josh chose to relinquish or forgo the request for financial support.

He expressed that his intention had been consistent – ensuring fairness in all matters. In other words, if things were distributed equitably, there would be no necessity for additional measures.

As Josh—who is now dating Stephanie Gabrys—noted, he’s focused on the future. 

He made it clear, the number of hardships she tried to subject him to was indeed substantial. He may choose to pardon her for that, but he won’t easily forget it. With so many kind-hearted individuals in his life already, there’s no compelling reason for him to maintain a connection with her.

The property magnate views the unfortunate separation as a valuable learning opportunity for personal growth.

In his Instagram post from January, he expressed that difficult circumstances can reshape a person. He mentioned that such experiences lead to personal growth and transformation into an improved version of oneself. This period has offered insights about himself that he wasn’t previously aware of. He also acknowledged that it expanded his understanding of various aspects, despite the hardships. He concluded by stating that while it was challenging, he recognizes the valuable lessons it imparted to him and is thankful for those insights.

In April 2022, it became public knowledge that Christina and Josh had secretly exchanged vows earlier. They officially celebrated their marriage with a wedding in Hawaii, which took place in September. Later on, it was disclosed that the couple actually got married in October 2021. Christina shared her sentiments about the event on Instagram on Sept. 4, stating: “I’ve reached exactly where I want to be, with my dream man on a dreamy island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an incredible night filled with love.

The real estate agent acknowledged the HGTV star’s 40th birthday by penning a heartfelt tribute on Instagram:

“Happy 40th Birthday to my stunningly beautiful wife!” he exclaimed. “She has achieved so much, motivated countless others, and never ceases to amaze me. Her ambition, drive, and talent are truly remarkable. Christina is poised to make her forties the most successful decade of her life, all while looking more radiant than ever! I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be sharing this journey with her, which has now become our lives together. Here’s to us, baby – we’re in this for the long haul, and I love you more than words can express.

Josh posted on Instagram that their bond is still thriving, accompanied by photos spanning the past three years. He also included the dates: March 2024, March 2023, March 2021, and March 2021.

In simpler terms, Josh decided to end his marriage with Christina because they had unresolvable problems.

In her personal records, Christina mentioned the same rationale for their split but disagreed with Josh over the specific date. Instead, she noted July 7 as the day they parted ways.
