As a devoted fan, I’ve been pondering the future of the Batman franchise since the spectacular debut of The Batman in 2022 and the introduction of The Penguin in HBO Max’s spin-off. While we know for sure that Batman will be a constant figure, the parallel DC Universe spearheaded by James Gunn seems to clash with the gritty world crafted by Matt Reeves. However, I can’t help but wonder about the potential role of Colin Farrell’s character, Oz Cobb, more famously known as The Penguin, in The Batman 2.

We might conceive an impression, but it seems less apparent than expected, considering the acclaim of his individual performance.
