David Duchovny Confirms He Privately Married Monique Pendleberry

David Duchovny’s love life is no longer a mystery.

Earlier this year, an actor from the popular series “The X Files” confirmed that he got married to Monique Pendleberry, a relationship that they had made public approximately ten years ago.

On September 3rd during an episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends”, David appeared as a guest to talk about his first poetry collection titled “About Time”. Savannah Guthrie, who was filling in as the guest cohost, mentioned that David had recently gotten married. To this, David responded, “Yes, I did, in February. Thank you.

In 2017, the newly-married couple were first spotted together in Vancouver, Canada. Since then, they have generally managed to keep their relationship private from public scrutiny. Although David claimed that none of the poems in his latest book were written for Monique, he did not hesitate to mention his knowledge about romantic matters.

He shared, “On my commute this morning, I glanced at Amazon’s sales and saw that I was ranked as the top love poet. That’s quite amusing, considering I’m the only love poet around. I’m truly unique in that regard.

Approximately three months before officially getting married, the Golden Globe winner – who has children West Duchovny (26) and Kyd Duchovny (23) with his former wife Tea Leoni – briefly referred to his wedding in an interview with The Telegraph published in June. During the conversation, he hinted at aspects of the ceremony, casually mentioning, “We eloped to Santa Barbara and got married at the courthouse there.

In a surprising turn of events, I, David, find myself embarking on matrimony once more – a step that was far from my immediate plans following my divorce from Téa, my partner for nearly two decades from 1997 to 2014. A year after our separation, I openly expressed my hesitance about remarriage. However, here I am today, ready to embrace this new chapter in my life.

“I don’t think I want to be married again,” he told People in May 2015. “I just feel like I’m old!”

Nonetheless, David had no regrets about how his personal life had unfolded up to that point.

Reflecting on my life, I can honestly say that my marriage and family are undeniably some of the greatest joys I’ve ever experienced,” I shared. “I wouldn’t trade this bliss for anything else in the world. Frankly, it baffles me when others attempt to rewrite their pasts.
