However, recent reports suggest that the liquid metal problems in PS5 consoles, particularly early models, may be increasing and becoming more problematic. For those unaware, reports suggest that when standing upright, the liquid metal cooling system within the PS5 may leak, leaving dry patches on the APU (Application Processor Unit). This could potentially lead to issues like unexpected shutdowns due to overheating.
