Today, in collaboration with Disney/Pixar, LEGO is launching the Speed Champions Lightning McQueen collection, and they’re doing it here at Comicbook. For those eager to get started, pre-orders are anticipated to go live today, September 5th at 1pm ET, available at the LEGO Shop for $27.99 with an official release date of January 1st.

LEGO announces that their Speed Champions Lightning McQueen set is an intricate miniature replica made up of 270 pieces. This model faithfully captures the iconic red body, the distinctive yellow-orange lightning bolt emblazoned with the number 95, Rust-Eze sponsor decals, “Lightyear” writing on the tires, and McQueen’s characteristic mischievous grin.
