Alongside the unveiling of the trailer for Borderlands 4, Gearbox Entertainment has officially announced global release dates for the looter shooter game. It’s set to drop globally on September 11th at 9 AM Pacific Time, which is equivalent to 12 PM Eastern Time, 5 PM British Summer Time, and so forth. Gamers in Singapore, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to play it starting from September 12th according to their local times.
In “Borderlands 4”, a fresh squad of Vault Hunters embarks on an adventure on the planet Kairos, aiming to overthrow the Timekeeper, who currently governs the world. Collaboration with the Crimson Resistance and various other factions is crucial for their mission, but gathering loot also plays a significant role. The developers claim that it surpasses “Borderlands 3” in every aspect, allowing players to tackle main missions in virtually any sequence, engage in additional activities at will, and strengthen themselves through numerous other means.
In Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, the game doesn’t stop once the campaign ends. Instead, an exciting post-game phase unfolds, complete with Specializations, bonuses known as Firmware, and additional features. So far, it seems enjoyable, and there’s even more content to anticipate after the launch.
At its release, Borderlands 4 is expected to be playable on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. However, those with a Nintendo Switch 2 will have to wait until October 3rd for the game’s availability.
Prepare for launch… 💨🚀
