Thus far, attendees at the MTV Video Music Awards are demonstrating a mutual dependence, with many making the red carpet feel like an intimate date night at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

A week following their 11th wedding anniversary celebration, Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross enjoyed a cozy date night. The pair, who are parents to Jagger (10) and Ziggy (4), displayed tender moments on the red carpet, exchanging a kiss in front of cameras for one photograph.

Meanwhile, as they celebrated their actual anniversary in Las Vegas with Ashlee, who is mom to Bronx (16) with ex-Pete Wentz, Ashlee shared that it was amazing for her longtime partner to watch her perform live on stage for the first time.

During the VMAs 2025, Mr. Beast and his fiancée, Thea Booysen, displayed their romantic bond. This was eight months after their engagement. Similarly, Colin Kaepernick and his wife, Nessa, made a seldom public appearance prior to her hosting gig for the pre-show event. At the 2025 VMAs, a highly anticipated event, your favorite music and film stars’ couples might enjoy an exceptional evening out. This special occasion, hosted by LL Cool J, promises electrifying performances by Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Post Malone, and Doja Cat.

The nominations are equally enchanting, and after Lady Gaga dropped “Mayhem,” her first album in five years, in March, she gained significant recognition by securing eight nominations for her latest work. Additionally, she received three more nods shared with Bruno Mars for their hit collaboration “Die With a Smile.

Among the musicians garnering nominations are Kendrick Lamar, who earned 10 nominations largely due to his acclaimed “Not Like Us” music video, and Bruno, who received nods in collaborations with Lady Gaga and also for his work with BLACKPINK’s Rosé on the track “APT.

Though she didn’t surpass the previously mentioned nominees, the “Espresso” is once again enjoying a successful “Sabrina summer” for a second consecutive year. Her album titled “Short n’ Sweet“, which won a Grammy, has garnered eight nominations this year, along with her hit single “Manchild” from Man’s Best Friend. This four-minute track, depicting the tumultuous nature of relationships, was inspired by Sabrina’s fondness for movie trailers.

She shared with Rolling Stone in June, “I’m drawn to well-crafted trailers, the way they skillfully piece things together.” She continued, “In just a few moments, you can go from feeling tears, triggered by an actor’s expression or a scene where someone is laughing and crying, then kissing, then dancing. These brief glimpses into different scenes somehow manage to convey a complete story in a very compact format.
