Once it’s finished, the game will be upgraded to a fresh edition. It would be best for Explorers to install this upgrade via a Wi-Fi network.
Pre-installation is now available on mobile, PC, PlayStation®, and Xbox Series X|S.
Following the update, the PlayStation Store will stop offering the PS4 edition of Genshin Impact for download. But don’t worry, if you’ve already got the PS4 version, you’ll still be able to upgrade and carry on playing it on your PS4 after the update.

Update maintenance begins at 2025/09/10 06:00 (UTC+8) and is estimated to take 5 hours.

Maintenance Compensation: Primogems ×300 (60 Primogems per hour the servers are down)
〓Update Maintenance Compensation Eligibility〓
Rewards for Upkeep: Passengers who achieved Adventure Level 5 or higher prior to September 10, 2025, 06:00 (UTC+8).
Compensation must be claimed before the end of Version “Luna I.”
After the update maintenance is completed, our developers will send rewards to players within 5 hours via in-game email. Remember to collect your rewards as they’ll expire after 30 days.
The main changes made in this version are:
1. Simplified and more conversational language for a better reading experience.
2. Added “Remember” to emphasize the importance of collecting the rewards in time.
