Continuing its practice of releasing updated versions of popular Switch games for the new Switch 2 console, Nintendo has announced *Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park*. The game is scheduled to launch in Spring 2026 and will feature several new multiplayer minigames.
Fast Cash: Tip Tap’s Coin Spree challenges players to collect coins while navigating courses. Knock ’em Back: Bubble Blaster lets you eliminate opponents by blasting them into lava with bubble guns. And Run, Hide! Phanto Tag is a unique game combining elements of Prop Hunt and hot potato, where players hunt each other and pass around a cursed mask inspired by *Super Mario Bros. 2*.
But there’s more! Nintendo also hinted at exciting additions like the Koopalings making a comeback, new levels starring Captain Toad, and collectible Bellabel Flowers. We’ll share more information in the months ahead. And for those who already own the game on Switch, a paid upgrade will be available when the new version launches on the upgraded Switch.
