2025 was a fantastic year for television, and the Emmy Awards last night celebrated many of the shows we all love.
The series *Adolescence* won six awards, recognizing performances by Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty, and Owen Cooper. Cooper made Emmy history as the youngest male winner ever for his work on the Netflix drama.
āI was nothing about three years ago. I’m here now,ā Cooper said as he accepted his award.
Shortly after, The Studio also won four Emmys, notably including one for Seth Rogen. He won Lead Comedy Actor for his performance as Matt Remick in the popular Apple TV+ series.
The medical drama *The Pitt* was a big winner at the Emmys, earning two awards, including the top prize for Outstanding Drama Series. Noah Wyle also took home an Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama.
Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show won its first-ever award for Outstanding Talk Series.

The 2025 Emmy Awards aired live on CBS on Sunday, September 14th at 8 PM Eastern Time. You could also watch on streaming services that offer CBS, like DirecTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, and YouTube TV.
If you missed the live event, you can watch the ceremony on Paramount Plus anytime between Monday, September 15th and Sunday, September 21st.
Who hosted the Primetime Emmys 2025?
Nate Bargatze hosted this year’s ceremony, and he had previously told Entertainment Weekly he wouldn’t talk about politics during it.

The comedian quickly faced criticism online after suggesting a new method for making acceptance speeches brief.
At the start of the show, Bargatze announced heād donate $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America. However, for every second a winner spoke longer than 45 seconds, $1,000 would be deducted from that amount.
The decision quickly sparked controversy, as many fans online criticized the countdown clock displayed on stage.
