Emmys 2025: Noah Wyle Paid Homage to The Pitt With His Tuxedo

Noah Wyle will stand by healthcare workers, however he can.

The 2025 Emmy Awards continued the trend of unique fashion choices. Jon Hamm, recognized as Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for his role in *The Pitt*, wore a specially made tuxedo from the healthcare clothing company FIGS.

I was so excited to see Noah at the 77th annual ceremony on September 14th! He looked fantastic in a navy suit with black peak lapels, but what really got me was his outfit choice – custom ‘Black Tie Scrubs’! It was such a thoughtful tribute to his support of healthcare workers, and I loved that the brand embroidered their slogan, ‘Awesome Human,’ right onto his shirt collar. It was a really special touch.

A note sewn into the lining of the coat read, “Celebrating season one of *The Pitt*-with 13 Emmy nominations, dedicated to Dr. Michael ‘Robby’ Robinavitch and all healthcare workers.” (You can find a complete list of the winners here.)

The 54-year-old actor, who won his first Emmy after 26 years since his last nomination for *ER*, thanked his fellow cast and crew, HBO, and his wife, Sara Wells, when accepting the award. However, he quickly focused on expressing his appreciation for healthcare workers.

He finished by thanking everyone working tonight or finishing their shift, saying, “This is for you-thank you for doing this job.”

As for how Noah ended up strutting in the unique ensemble?

He remembered being at the Gotham Awards in New York, wearing a tuxedo. Someone jokingly asked if it was as comfortable as his work scrubs, so he spontaneously challenged the clothing company FIGS while on camera, as he told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

The clothing brand, known for providing scrubs to healthcare workers around the world and also outfitting the cast and crew of *The Pitt* during filming, won the award. Noah was thrilled, saying they really made it their own with unique details.

After appearing in the HBO show – which won awards for Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress (awarded to Katherine LaNasa) – Noah has become a strong advocate for healthcare professionals.

The actor, known for his support of laws benefiting healthcare workers, explained to CBS News in June that this was meant as a message of appreciation for those working on the front lines, letting them know they are recognized and valued during this time.
