If you’re searching for a scary new game, the creators of Alien: Rogue Incursion are releasing an updated version of their VR action-horror experience for consoles, including Xbox Series X|S, on September 30th.
Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition is now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, having originally been designed as a VR game. Survios, the game’s developer, recently revealed that the Evolved Edition would launch on all three platforms at the same time, alongside a new trailer.
This game is the first chapter in a two-part story taking place between the films *Alien* and *Aliens*. You play as Zula Hendricks, a Colonial Marine who goes to investigate a distress signal on a distant planet. She soon discovers a hidden facility that’s been taken over by the terrifying Xenomorphs.
In Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, Hendricks and her AI partner, Davis 01, are determined to reveal a secret, hidden research facility. They must sneak inside and fight to survive against a terrifying new breed of xenomorphs – creatures that are smarter and more dangerous than ever before. The newly released trailer offers a disturbing and intense preview of this first-person horror experience.
The trailer begins with the player character cautiously exploring the outside of a large, deserted building during a snowy night. Throughout the scene, you can hear the terrifying sounds of the alien creatures, and the player quickly finds themselves in a firefight with one hiding in the shadows.
The scene shifts inside the facility, and it’s immediately clear things are bad. Xenomorphs are everywhere – crawling through the halls, jumping through doorways. We see glimpses of the humans fighting back against these terrifying creatures, and even a chilling shot of one of those infamous face-huggers hanging in a lab. A voiceover warns us that if these xenomorphs ever made it to Earth, it could mean the end for all of us.
What’s in the Evolved Edition?

The upcoming Xbox version of Alien: Rogue Incursion isn‘t just a VR game brought to new platforms. Survios announced the game has been completely redesigned and rebuilt for consoles and PC. Not only are there more aliens, but they’ve also become significantly more dangerous – they’re now smarter, quicker, more adaptable, and much harder to defeat.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition doesn’t just feature new technology for the xenomorphs; it also boasts enhanced graphics, a smooth 60 frames per second, and immersive 3D audio, all working together to make the game’s horror even more intense and cinematic.
The standard edition costs $29.99 on all platforms.
Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition will be available in two versions. The standard version includes the full game and two bonus items if you pre-order: a special armor design inspired by the movie *Alien: Romulus*, and a matching weapon skin.
