I’ve been waiting for something like this! If you loved *Terranigma* and were a fan of Radical Fish Games’ *CrossCode*, you’ll be happy to hear their new action RPG, *Alabaster Dawn*, has a demo out now on PC. It’s a totally new story – you play as Juno trying to save the world – but the combat feels just like what we know and love from them.
The demo is roughly 1.5 to 2.5 hours long and divided into two sections. The first lets you play the beginning of the game, and your progress will be saved when the full game launches. The second section showcases later parts of the story, including a portion of a dungeon, but any progress you make in that dungeon won’t transfer to the main game.
Players can try out both close-combat and long-range weapons – there are two of each type. The game features nine enemy types and four challenging bosses. Though it doesn’t have a lot of reviews on Steam yet, early feedback is good. You can find more information here.
The game *Alabaster Dawn* will be available on PC in early access later this year, with plans to release it on consoles sometime after that.
