Apparently, Denise Richards and her daughter tried to fix Sami Sheen up with Joe Purcell, the eldest son of Tish’s husband, Dominic Purcell.

Tish, 58, shared on the September 16th episode of the *Sorry We’re Cyrus* podcast that she’s recently been put in charge of managing many people, starting with her stepson. She described him as “absolutely stunning,” and her 21-year-old daughter, Sami, agreed, saying she’d seen a video and thought he was a “really handsome guy.”

After the influencer-who is the oldest daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards-revealed she’s currently single, Tish shared that her son, Joe, 25, recently started seeing someone new. She added that she’d be thrilled if Joe and Sami ever became a couple.

Going to bat for her stepbrother, Brandi noted, “You guys would be cute. He’s like 6’5’.”

And Sami didn’t shut down the opportunity. 

She admitted she typically doesn’t date taller men because looking up at them gives her a neckache. She laughed, saying it sounds silly, but she was willing to give this particular guy a chance.

Tish gave flowers to Joe, whom she’s managing while he works on his acting career.

She described him as incredibly kind, saying he’s “the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.” She then shared that he’s an up-and-coming actor who recently completed a horror film for Tubi after a year of acting classes.

Joe, who is the son Dominic shares with his ex-wife Rebecca Williamson, seems to be following in his father’s acting career. This is surprising, as Joe had previously said he wasn’t interested in being a movie star.

Okay, so everyone *always* asked me about acting, you know, because of my dad. And honestly? It was the last thing I wanted to do! I was a super shy kid, totally focused on sports. I really dreamed of being a professional athlete, but it just didn’t pan out. It wasn’t until I was around twenty that I even started to think, ‘Maybe, just maybe, I could actually try acting.’ It was a total surprise, even to me!

He recalled his very first acting experience happening in his college apartment. He and his friends performed a scene from *The Dark Knight*, and he immediately knew that acting was his passion. He said, “I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, this is what I want to do!’”

Billy Ray Cyrus married Tish Cyrus (née Leticia Finley) on Dec. 28, 2003.

They already had a daughter, Destiny Hope Cyrus (better known as Miley Cyrus), and Tish was expecting their son, Braison Cyrus, who was born on May 9, 1994.

Trace shared a heartfelt message to his father on Instagram, recalling that he’s admired him since childhood. He wrote that he always looked up to his father and considered the day he was adopted the happiest of his life. However, he sadly feels distant from the man he once idolized.

He said he and his sisters had been worried about him for years, but he’d always kept them at a distance.

Noah was especially hurt, according to Trace.

He wrote that Noah has always wished you were involved in her life, but you haven’t been there for her. He emphasized that she’s your daughter and deserves better. Despite everything, she still looks up to you, just like he does. They’re all holding onto the good memories of who you used to be and hoping you’ll be that person again.

Following a post from his son Trace expressing concern for him and his sisters – Miley, Brandi, and Noah – country music star Billy Ray Cyrus shared a message on YouTube Shorts on January 26, 2025, asking for prayers for his family, including his children and their mother.

In March 2025, Billy Ray appeared to be reconnecting with his daughters, Miley and Noah, publicly praising their new music.
