After debuting at number one in North America, fans eager to watch it on streaming services received some news from Crunchyroll. A company executive recently announced when the latest battle against Muzan will become available on their platform.
Crunchyroll won’t be streaming *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle* this year, according to Mitchel Berger, Executive Vice President of Global Commerce. He told PopVerse that fans will need to see the new movie in theaters, stating it will only be available there in 2025. While he didn’t announce a specific date, it seems *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle* will likely become available on Crunchyroll in 2026.
The Demon Slayer Cast Prepares For The End
I recently spoke with Zach Aguilar, the voice of Tanjiro, about the series coming to an end. He admitted he’s feeling a bit sad about saying goodbye to the character and the whole franchise as the final battle approaches. He described it as a ‘bittersweet’ experience, especially as someone who was already a fan of the original manga and enjoyed seeing it brought to life.
Aguilar shared his enthusiasm for the series, explaining that he followed the manga to stay ahead of the story. He noted that some actors avoid the source material to stay present with their character, as knowing exactly how a scene should play out – perhaps influenced by the manga – could clash with slight variations in the dubbing script. He believes the challenge for passionate actors is finding a balance between preparation and spontaneity, avoiding overthinking or rigidly planning their performance.
Currently, there’s no official news about when the next two movies in the final *Demon Slayer* trilogy will be released. While some rumors suggest a new movie each year, nothing has been confirmed. Fortunately, fans can still experience the complete ending of the story by reading the finished manga, created by Koyoharu Gotouge.
