Gigi Hadid is commemorating her daughter’s milestone birthday.
The supermodel posted a loving message to her daughter, Khai, who turned five on September 19th. Khai’s father is Zayn Malik.
Gigi shared a sweet photo of herself with her daughter. Her little girl was dressed up as a cowgirl, complete with a jean jacket, chaps, and pink cowboy boots, and her hair was in braids. Gigi herself was casually dressed in jeans and a camo sweatshirt, also sporting cowboy boots.
She celebrated her daughter Khai’s fifth birthday on Instagram, sharing a photo with Khai’s face hidden to protect her privacy. She wrote, ‘Happy Birthday to my greatest love and gift!’
I recently shared a little peek behind the scenes – a photo from a photoshoot while I was pregnant with Khai, captioned ‘Khai Loading…’ It felt so sweet! Then I posted one of the finished shots from the same day. It’s a simple picture of me holding my bump, wearing a bandeau and jeans, and I wrote ‘So Lucky to be your mama.’ It really sums up how I feel!
Gigi shared another birthday photo of her daughter Khai, showing her holding the two-year-old from behind. The photo was posted on October 24, 2023.
Khai has had a busy fall! Besides this achievement, the *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* star also shared that her daughter recently started school.
Gigi wrote a sweet note to her daughter for the first day of school, saying “So proud of you,” and tucked it into her pink lunchbox. She shared a photo of the note on her Instagram Stories earlier this month.
She ended her note by drawing a heart and signing the card “Mama.”
Gigi and Zayn generally keep details about their daughter private, but Zayn, who was in the band One Direction, did excitedly share last year that she’s already showing a talent for music.
Zayn mentioned in May 2024 on *The Zach Sang Show* that while she isn’t a professional drummer, she has a natural feel for rhythm and the potential to become quite skilled.
He explained that she knows entire songs by heart, singing every word perfectly. He described her as incredibly talented, noting she can also execute complex vocal runs, hitting three or four notes in a single, fluid phrase.
