The Christ Air is a well-known skateboarding trick that’s back in Skate 4, and you’ll even need it to complete the “Redemption Air” Challenge. It’s named after the pose resembling Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, but you can also see it as just a silly T-pose! We’ll walk you through how to perform the trick and finish the challenge.
How to do Christ Air | Skate 4 – Redemption Air Challenge

When trying the Christ Air trick, the way you do it changes depending on whether you’re regular or goofy – basically, which foot you put forward on the skateboard. In the game, you can easily tell which stance you’re in by looking at your skater’s feet or noticing which side the camera is pointing at.
With that said, here’s the input for the Christ Air trick for each stance:
- Regular (left foot forward, camera panned to the right) – LT + B (Xbox), L2 + Circle (PlayStation)
- Goofy (right foot forward, camera panned to the left) – RT + B (Xbox), R2 + Circle (PlayStation)
Remember that your body position will shift during tricks like 180 spins and manual reverts. It’s good to be aware of this before attempting something more complex, like a Christ Air!
Christ Air is actually quite easy to do because it only requires a few simple movements. The main thing is to make sure you’re high enough in the air when you try it! It’s not a super speedy trick, so give yourself enough time to get ready for landing after you complete it.
If you’re completing the “Redemption Air” Challenge, you’ll also need to perform a 360-degree spin while doing the Christ Air trick. Just keep holding the input for the trick and move your left analog stick left or right until you’ve spun all the way around. It’s that easy! Check out the clip above for a visual example.
Now you know everything you need to perform the Christ Air in Skate 4, and how to use it in the “Redemption Air” challenge. Go land some awesome tricks! Don’t forget to add the Even Flow stat boost to really maximize your score.
