Flowing Grinds Goals Guide in Skate 4

The “Flowing Grinds” Challenge in Skate 4 is pretty straightforward: earn a good score by performing two specific tricks and collecting all 8 Bearings along the way. It’s not super easy, but this guide will give you the tips you need to complete it successfully.

Flowing Grinds Challenge Goals Guide | Skate 4

Let’s kick things off by breaking down all of the Goals for this challenge, first:

  • Total Attempt Score (2500) – As it says, get a total Score of 2500 during the Challenge. You just need to get it before collecting the 8th and final Bearing.
  • Grind through the Curved Rail (Star) – Grind across the highlighted curved rail marked with a star. This one is near the start of the Challenge’s route, as we’ll detail below.
  • 360 Spin the Final Gap (Circle) – Do a 360 Spin after jumping off the final gap in the route. This gap is highlighted in yellow with a circle symbol, and we’ll detail it more later.
  • All of the Above in one Attempt – Complete all of the previous Goals before collecting the 8th Bearing.

Putting It All Together

Okay, let’s begin with the curved rail. You’ll find it at the very beginning of the course, as shown in the clip. To get to it, you’ll need to perform a Boned Ollie – the input for this trick is displayed on the Tricks Helper on the left side of your screen. Simply grind across the rail to complete the goal; you don’t need to do any complicated tricks.

Next, follow the path of the Challenge by gathering all the Bearings until you find the marked gap. When you reach it, simply jump down while spinning around once. To spin, just hold either the left or right direction on the left stick of your controller. You don’t need to perform any special flips or grabs – just spin as you jump.

You should now have 7 or 8 Bearings. Before getting the last one, you have plenty of time to reach a score of 2500 by doing tricks within the challenge area. Once you hit 2500, go grab the final Bearing! Just remember to stay on your board and avoid falling, or you’ll have to start the challenge over.

If you finish all three of these goals in one go, you’ll automatically complete an extra goal called “All of the Above in one Attempt!” That’s everything you need to know to finish the “Flowing Grinds” Challenge in Skate 4. It’s challenging, but much easier than challenges that require you to do everything perfectly in a single, unbroken run, like the “AAA One Hitter” Challenge.
