Okay, so the thriller *The Guest* is wrapping up on BBC One, which is a shame! But honestly, I already binged all four episodes – they’ve been up on BBC iPlayer for a while now, so I was well ahead of the game.

As a result, a lot of people already know how the season concludes, which features Eve Myles and Gabrielle Creevy. The ending includes surprising twists and reveals details about Fran’s work and her connection to Ria.

Will there be a second season of the show? And will it reveal what happened to Ria and Fran after the first season ended?

Will there be The Guest season 2?

It’s currently unclear if *The Guest* will return for a second season, but another season hasn’t been ruled out.

Although the first season resolved the story of Ria and Fran, the show’s creator, Matthew Barry, has hinted that the original plan was for each season to feature a new, self-contained thriller focused on class differences, similar to the movies *The Talented Mr. Ripley* and *Parasite*.

He shared with the Royal Television Society magazine that they always intended to create a second season. The new season would continue to examine themes of social mobility and class, similar to the style of ‘Ripley’ or ‘Parasite,’ but with a fresh cast of characters and a completely new storyline.

Mail Online recently reported that a second season is in development, but the BBC hasn’t officially confirmed this yet.

When would The Guest season 2 be released?
