Massive Entertainment is releasing new story content for *Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora* to celebrate the release of James Cameron’s *Avatar: Fire and Ash*. The new DLC, called *From the Ashes*, will be available on December 19th and follows So’lek, an important character, as he fights against the RDA.
I’m so hyped for the next installment! It picks up right after the first game, and things look *bad* for So’lek. Apparently, he’s been left for dead after the corporation teamed up with the Ash clan. Now he’s on a mission to find the Sarentu and get revenge on everyone who betrayed him, tearing through the ruined Kinglor Forest as he does. We’re also getting a whole new area to explore, and it sounds like we’ll really get to know So’lek on a deeper, more emotional level – a much darker story, they’re saying!
The game will feature updated combat, though specific changes haven’t been announced yet. From the Ashes is available as a standalone purchase, but it’s also included in a bundle with the original game for new players.
