DWTS’ Corey Feldman Addresses Jenna Johnson Feud Rumors

Win or lose, Corey Feldman is standing by his Dancing With the Stars partner Jenna Johnson.

After being eliminated from the show on September 23rd, along with NBA player Baron Davis and his partner Britt Stewart, the actor known for *Stand By Me* shared his thanks to his dance partner.

Corey, 51, left a comment on Jenna’s Instagram post from September 24th, writing, “Thank you, Jenna!” He added that she was “an absolute joy to work with” and expressed his regret over negative stories in the media that suggest their time working together wasn’t positive. He clarified that he found their time together very enjoyable.

Addressing talk that he hadn’t been a team player during practice, the *Goonies* actor explained, “And you know as well as I do that I was there every day for the last three weeks, doing absolutely everything I could to perform my best, even if the judges didn’t recognize it.”

He added to Jenna, “God Bless your family. Keep dancing the dream.”

Jenna also spoke highly of Corey, sharing in her original post how thankful she was for the wonderful time they had together, even though it was brief. She wrote, “Our time together was cut short but I am SO grateful for the incredible weeks we did get to share!!”

She continued, expressing her gratitude for the daily laughter during rehearsals, their dedication, and the personal stories and wisdom they shared. She said she would always treasure their friendship and encouraged them to keep dancing.

Rumors of a disagreement began earlier this month when Jenna mentioned that Corey hadn’t been seen since the cast was revealed on *Good Morning America* on September 3rd.

Jenna recently addressed fans asking about her and Corey’s TikTok videos. According to Us Weekly, she explained on Instagram that she hasn’t seen him since their appearance on Good Morning America.

Jenna and Corey happily reunited a few days after Jenna’s initial post, and she explained that Corey hadn’t been at rehearsals because of previous commitments. However, rumors of conflict continued, especially after Jenna’s brother-in-law, Maksim Chmerkovskiy-a winner of season 18 of *Dancing with the Stars*-suggested that Corey was having a difficult time with rehearsals.

It’s clear Jenna is facing challenges in her relationship with Corey, and it’s easy to see that from an outside perspective,” he said in a recent interview with the Daily Mail. “But what people don’t realize is she’s really struggling, and it’s been incredibly hard on her.

Since Jenna already won *The Bachelor* with Joey Graziadei, Maksim thinks people need to acknowledge her success. His brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, is currently partnered with influencer Alix Earle this season.

He described his sister-in-law – who co-parents 2-year-old Rome with Val – as a natural leader. ‘That show demands you confidently direct adults and hold your position,’ he explained.

Ultimately, when Corey looked at his short-lived run with Jenna, he believes she “deserved better.”

During the September 23rd episode of *Dancing with the Stars*, he sadly said, “She was amazing last season, and in my opinion, she’s good enough to win every year.”
