DMM Games, Shiravune, and AQUAPLUS have announced that Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 is coming to PC through Steam. The game will offer support for English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese languages.
Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 originally came out for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on July 22, 2021, but it wasn’t available outside of Japan at that time. The upcoming PC release will include several improvements and features designed specifically for computers.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
The Utawarerumono series, created by AQUAPLUS, has been incredibly popular in Japan for more than 20 years and has gained a strong following in the West over the last decade. The main three games – Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth – which blend tactical gameplay with JRPG elements, are all currently available on Steam.
Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 continues the story of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, bringing its most thrilling scenes to life with exciting, action-packed gameplay. This game lets dedicated fans relive beloved moments, while also offering a great entry point for new players to experience this well-regarded series in an easier and more accessible way.
I love how this game lets me combine awesome combat moves, gear that really changes how I play, and abilities that get stronger as I go! I can build a seriously powerful team from over 20 different characters and just blast my way through more than 50 story missions in this action-packed adventure. Utawarerumono: ZAN is back, and honestly, it’s better than ever!
