In version 1.0 of Hades 2, you can unlock and use 3 completely new Keepsakes. However, you’ll need to finish the main story first to get them! Plus, they all need you to be at the “Fates’ Whim” level. If you’re not sure what that is, don’t worry – we’ll explain how to unlock and use each of these new Keepsakes as you read on.
How to Unlock the New Keepsakes & Use Them | Hades 2

As we discussed earlier, Hades 2 version 1.0 introduces 3 completely new keepsakes. Let’s take a look at each one: how to unlock them, and what benefits they provide:
| Keepsake Name | How to Get | Keepsake Effect |
| Jeweled Pom | Offer Nectar to Hades and Persephone. They appear at the House of Hades in the Underworld route. Only available after finishing the story. | While at Fates’ Whim, gain a random Hades blessing and most Boons have a +1/2/3/4 Lv. |
| Calling Card | Defeat Zagreus at Elysium two times. Only available after finishing the story. | While at Fates’ Whim, you can rarify olympian blessings up to 2/4/6/8 times this night. |
| Time Piece | Offer Nectar to Chronos. You can find him after defeating Hecate in the Underworld route, before entering Oceanus. Only available after finishing the story. | While at Fates’ Whim, you can purge most rewards for Gold Crowns up to 2/3/4/5 time(s) this night. |

As you may have observed, these effects are exclusive to the Fates’ Whim location. This restricts the use of Changes of Fate (which allow rerolls) and Olympian-summoning Keepsakes. In short, your progress will depend entirely on random chance and good luck! You won’t be able to manipulate any of the random elements in the game.
If you receive any Changes of Fate, all three of these Keepsakes will become unusable. You also won’t be able to equip them again if you come across a Keepsake cabinet during your playthrough. Likewise, if you use a Keepsake that summons an Olympian god, all three Fates’ Whim Keepsakes will be deactivated. This applies even if you’ve already used them previously.
Ultimately, it comes down to a choice! You can either use Arcana and Keepsakes that let you manage how things are randomized, and simply not use these other Keepsakes. Alternatively, you can embrace the randomness and rely on fate if you want to use these powerful Keepsakes.
So, now I finally know how to unlock and actually *use* all these new Keepsakes in Hades 2! It’s pretty cool, and honestly, what I do with them from here on out is totally up to me – I can’t wait to experiment and see what builds I can create with them! It’s all about the fun, right?
