Donna Kelce, Andrea Swift Pose With Patrick Mahomes’ Mom Randi Mahomes

Let’s hear the applause for the moms.

It was a definite mothers’ night out when Donna Kelce, Andrea Swift and Randi Mahomes-the mothers of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and Patrick Mahomes-enjoyed dinner together at 1587 Prime, the new restaurant owned by Kansas City Chiefs players.

A recent photo, posted to Randi’s Instagram Story on Sept. 30, shows her smiling with Andrea, 67, and Donna, 72. The photo was taken earlier this month at the newly opened steakhouse in Kansas City.

Randi wore a white, button-up shirt vest for the event. Meanwhile, both future mothers-in-law, Andrea and Donna, chose black shirts and gold necklaces.

Actually, Randi and Donna are wearing the same clothes they had on in Randi’s post from September 20th. That post featured the Kansas City Chiefs moms posing at a restaurant with old-fashioned drawings of women wearing football jerseys.

Randi wrote in the caption of her post, “So proud to be moms at @1587prime!! We’re starting our collection of these special keepsakes now… feeling very blessed!”

There’s been plenty of good news lately: In August, Taylor and Travis shared that they are engaged, posting adorable photos on Instagram with the message, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Even though Travis and Donna just got engaged, she’s already eager for them to start a family quickly. As Travis’ brother Jason Kelce playfully mentioned on the September 22nd episode of their New Heights podcast, “She’s definitely been pushing him about it.”

Even with everything going on, people are happily celebrating Taylor and Travis, and Donna went the extra mile by updating her Facebook banner to a sweet throwback photo of them as kids.

Since Travis started dating Taylor in 2023, he’s realized how much the Midnights artist and her mother have in common.

In an August interview with GQ, Travis described what he and his collaborators have in common: “Their kindness, how real they are, and their habit of greeting everyone,” he explained. “They’re also great at showing love and support, no matter the situation, and they all have a strong work ethic.”

Oh my gosh, it was SO sweet! The tight end just got all choked up talking about how strong his mom is – she’s a total inspiration, and he said he sees that same incredible perseverance in Taylor! I mean, it was just so touching to hear him talk about both of them like that. Seriously, I think it really shows who he is as a person!

He shared that he watched his mother achieve her ambitions, progressing from a bank teller to a prominent position within the KeyBank building. He noted that he’s witnessed Taylor follow a similar path – setting personal goals, surpassing expectations, and truly captivating a global audience in the process.

For a look back at Travis and Taylor’s love story, keep reading.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s romance started in July 2023. The singer was performing her Eras Tour, and one of the stops was at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end went to her concert hoping to give her a friendship bracelet featuring his jersey number. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to deliver it because she was busy with preparations before the show.

Travis explained on the July 26th episode of his New Heights podcast that he was a little upset she doesn’t chat with fans before or after her performances. He said it’s because she needs to protect her voice for the 44 songs she performs. “So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he shared.

Following his now-famous story about dropping the ball-which Taylor would playfully call “metal as hell”-Travis took a chance and invited the Grammy-winning singer to see the Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium.

I made the suggestion, I basically challenged her,” he explained on The Pat McAfee Show. “I told her, knowing she’s great performing on stage at Arrowhead Stadium, that she might need to come see *me* perform there too, and see which show is more exciting. We’ll see if anything comes of it soon.”

Travis had grown a mustache-he first showed it off in August while preparing for the season-when he and Taylor met for the first time.

Reflecting on that time, he said, “That mustache and the 87 jersey were really memorable for a while, and I was wearing it when I first met Taylor.”

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, TopMob News reported that Travis and Taylor were “texting and talking occasionally” by the beginning of September.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Taylor accepted Travis’ invitation and met his mother, Donna Kelce, at Arrowhead Stadium to see him and the Chiefs play against the Chicago Bears. Following the game, Taylor and Travis were spotted showing affection for each other at a nearby bar.

Despite rumors that it was their first time meeting face-to-face, the “Karma” singer explained that they had actually already spent a “significant amount of time” getting to know each other before that.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

To show how close they were getting, Taylor brought a group of her friends-including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski-to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

There’s another clue suggesting Travis might be *the one*: Taylor has been getting close to Brittany Mahomes-the wife of Travis’ best friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes-both at and away from NFL games.

The couple shared their relationship with the public by unexpectedly showing up on the Oct. 14th episode of Saturday Night Live. Their time in New York City also included attending the after-party for the NBC comedy show and enjoying a date at the Waverly Inn.

During his team’s break, Travis flew to Argentina to see Taylor’s Eras Tour while she was performing in South America. At the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, the NFL star connected with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and Taylor even gave him a special mention from the stage.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Oh my gosh, you guys, after the show I saw it with my own eyes! Midnights herself literally *ran* to Travis backstage! And then… she just kissed him! It was so passionate, I almost couldn’t breathe! I swear, it was the most amazing thing ever!

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

I’ll be there to watch him do what he’s passionate about; we support each other, and we don’t worry about who else is around,” she explained to Time. “That’s the opposite of having to go to great lengths to keep a relationship secret.”

The famous singer made Travis’ game on December 17th a family event, inviting her father along to support her boyfriend.

Taylor and Travis celebrated New Year’s Eve together, and shared a kiss as midnight struck on January 1st.

Taylor continued strengthening her relationship with Travis’ family, spending time with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce while watching the Chiefs play against the Buffalo Bills.

After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship – securing their place in the 2024 Super Bowl – Taylor joined Travis on the field. The couple then celebrated with a kiss and told each other “I love you.”

“Tay, I’m gonna enjoy with the guys,” he told her. “I love you—so much it’s not funny.”

Travis and his partner shared a kiss on the field after he led the Kansas City Chiefs to win on February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas.

I was so excited when Taylor finally shared footage of Travis on social media on February 12th! It was hilarious seeing her playfully tease how she brought her parents to a club with him after the Super Bowl. It was such a fun glimpse into their lives and I loved seeing that side of them.

Taylor’s initial Instagram post with Travis showed a selfie of them alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The photo was taken backstage at Taylor’s Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London.

I was at Taylor’s seventh Eras Tour concert – and my second night at Wembley Stadium in London – and it was absolutely incredible! I got to watch my girlfriend join Taylor onstage as a backup performer during “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” It was such a special moment, and I’m still buzzing from it!

As a lifestyle observer, I couldn’t help but notice Taylor attending Travis’s first game of the 2024-25 season! It reminded me of a sweet moment they shared back in October 2023 – you can see a re-enactment of it in this photo. It was shared by Chariah Gordon, who’s pictured here with her boyfriend, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

They went to the wedding of model Karen Elson and Lee Foster, who owns Electric Lady Studios, in New York City.

The next day, the pair attended the men’s singles final match at the U.S. Open.

The two stepped out for a double dinner date with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in NYC.

The couple went on two dates in a row in New York City during the final weekend of 2024, and they coordinated their outfits for both outings.

They passed the NFL off-season together, taking a snowy trip to Montana with sports commentator Erin Andrews.

In July 2025, Travis shared the first photos of him and Taylor on Instagram. One cute picture showed them at dinner, and it also cleverly revealed that they had each other’s photos set as their phone lockscreens.

Taylor, who calls herself a big New Heights fan, first appeared on Travis and Jason’s podcast on August 13th in a special episode lasting almost two hours. During the show, she openly shared details about her life with them, both in public and privately. She also announced her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released on October 3rd.

Over two years after Travis mentioned Taylor on his podcast – a shoutout that quickly went viral – the couple announced their engagement. In a playful nod to Taylor’s song “So High School,” they shared their engagement photos on Instagram on August 26th with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
