Every New Movie and Show Coming to Peacock in October 2025

October is generally a very active month for online streamers. As autumn gets underway, many platforms are looking to benefit from the popularity of Halloween. Following a busy September that included the release of the much-awaited The Office spin-off, The Paper, Peacock plans to continue delivering popular content next month.

This October, Peacock is adding some exciting new content, including a popular film from director Ethan Coen that was released this summer. They’re also bringing a remake of a beloved classic from DreamWorks Animation. The platform isn’t just about movies, though! There’s plenty to watch on the small screen, from over-the-top reality TV to shows designed to educate and entertain kids. And for those who enjoy true crime, there’s a new miniseries focusing on one of the country’s most infamous serial killers. Let’s take a closer look at everything coming to Peacock in October 2025.

Movies

‘Honey Don’t’

Streaming October 3

This darkly humorous movie is the newest work from the Coen brothers – or, rather, half of them, since only Ethan Coen worked on Honey Don’t. The film centers on Honey O’Donoghue, a detective in a small town, as she looks into a string of strange deaths linked to a small, cult-like church in Bakersfield. Though not a direct continuation of any previous story, Coen envisions Honey Don’t as the second installment in what he calls a “lesbian B-movie trilogy.” Drive-Away Dolls from 2024 was the first film, and the next, creatively named Go Beavers, is planned to complete the series.

Margaret Qualley plays the lead role of Honey, joined by Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans, Charlie Day, Lena Hall, Billy Eichner, and others. Honey Don’t is unusual for the Coen brothers, as it hasn’t received very positive reviews from critics. While reviewers acknowledged some good parts, they felt the film didn’t quite work as a whole. But for those interested in seeing this second film in the lesbian trilogy, you can watch Honey Don’t on Peacock beginning October 3. Drive-Away Dolls is also currently streaming on the platform.

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (2025)

Streaming October 10

The original How to Train Your Dragon series is among DreamWorks Animation’s most popular creations. It tells the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, a young Viking who tries to prove himself by hunting a dragon. However, he unexpectedly becomes friends with one, discovering that dragons and humans don’t have to be enemies. Together, the films have earned $1.6 billion around the world, and that number increases to $2.2 billion if you include the recent live-action remake.

This new movie retells the story of the first film, starring Mason Thames as Hiccup. The cast also features Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Peter Serafinowicz, and Gerard Butler, who is returning to voice a character as he did in the original. A follow-up film, inspired by 2014’s How to Train Your Dragon 2, was announced shortly after the movie came out and is scheduled to be released in 2027. Although the original series of films isn’t currently on Peacock, the live-action movie will be available starting October 10, just in time for fall.

TV Series

‘O’Ahu Shores’ (season 1)

Streaming October 9

The synopsis for O’ahu Shores, following a group of young locals living in Hawaii, reads:

In Hawaii, “ohana” signifies family, and this close, energetic group of friends shares a bond much like one. These young, local Hawaiians are becoming independent from their families and creating their own futures, all while staying true to their traditions. As they experience romance, deal with disappointment, and challenge each other’s loyalty, this group demonstrates that island life isn’t always paradise – it has its difficult moments too.

The cast of O’Ahu Shores features Skye Baker, Alex Fowler, Kaui Goodness, Marcus Hee, Rachael Peterson, Kamalani Pico, Keolu Ramos, and Raven Wood. Expect lots of drama, including relationships, gossip, romance, and betrayal. The first season of O’ahu Shores, all six episodes, will premiere on Peacock on October 9.

‘Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue’ (Season 2)

Streaming October 9

Instead of the usual flashy beach shows, a fresh season of an animated series for kids is here too. Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue centers around a group of young heroes working at The Sanctuary, a wildlife preserve. Mateo, Mei Lin, Frost, and Kawhi are part of this team, and they use special technology to turn into the “Mekbots” – transforming into robots that allow them to travel the globe and help animals in need. The show teaches viewers important lessons about animal welfare and protecting the environment.

You can currently watch the first season, which has 13 episodes, on Peacock. The entire second season will be ready to stream on October 9.

‘Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy’ (Season 1)

Streaming October 16

Shifting slightly in tone from the previous installment, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy examines the story of one of America’s most notorious serial killers. John Wayne Gacy kidnapped, attacked, and killed at least 33 young men during the mid-1970s. This program reveals how Gacy managed to avoid being caught for so long. He was skilled at appearing friendly and presented himself as a helpful, upstanding member of the community, known for his work with children.

Devil in Disguise tells the stories of John Wayne Gacy’s victims, explores the lasting pain and trauma experienced by their families, and examines the ways in which the system didn’t stop his terrible crimes. Michael Chernus, known for his role in Severance, portrays the cruel and disturbing killer. The entire eight-episode miniseries will be released on Peacock for streaming on October 16.

‘Married at First Sight’ (Season 19)

Streaming October 23

If you’re new to the show – and it’s been on for 18 seasons! – here’s the basic idea: several couples agree to be matched by a relationship expert and marry complete strangers. The show documents everything – the wedding, the honeymoon, and the first eight weeks of married life. Then, each couple has to decide if they want to stay together or get a divorce. Season 19 will follow 10 couples as they take this big risk.

By the end of season 18, 39 out of the 74 couples featured on the show decided to remain married following the eight-week experiment. Later, 28 of those 39 couples eventually divorced after their season concluded. Familiar faces on Married at First Sight often include Pastor Cal Robertson and sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz. You can see the newest group of singles when the first four episodes of the upcoming season become available on Peacock starting October 23. Many previous seasons are also available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.
