Where do you know the Ghost of Yōtei cast from?

Although not all of the actors in Ghost of Yōtei are equally famous, you’ll likely be familiar with some of the projects they’ve appeared in.

Erika Ishii – Atsu

I’m a huge fan of Erika Ishii, and their voice acting resume is seriously impressive! Everyone knows them as the voice of Valkyrie from Apex Legends – that role is *amazing* – but it’s not all they’ve done. They’ve also lent their voice to so many other big titles, like Mortal Kombat 1, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Halo Infinite, Deathloop, and even Cyberpunk 2077! It’s a really long list, honestly.

I think a lot of people recognize them from their work in web series – especially L.A. by Night and Critical Role, which have been running for ages! They’ve also been all over Dropout shows like Dimension 20, Game Changer, and Dirty Laundry. It’s really cool to see them everywhere!

Feodor Chin – Lord Saito

Feodor Chin is back working on the latest game from Tsushima, having previously given voice to Harunobu Adachi, Yamato, and Goro. While he’s also lent his voice to titles like the Like a Dragon series, World of Warcraft, and Sleeping Dogs, he’s probably most famous for playing the Omnic monk Zenyatta in Overwatch.

He’s also appeared in smaller roles on television shows such as New Girl, Futurama, Regular Show, and Big Little Lies, among many other shows.

Tommy Kang – The Oni

While Tommy Kang is most famous for being a stand-up comedian, he’s also done some acting. He’s been in several TV shows, such as The Blacklist, Zoom Zoom!, Two Grown and Sausage Party: Foodtopia.

Matt Yang King – The Kitsune

Matt Yang King is a seasoned actor who’s worked on many popular video games. He’s contributed to franchises like Like a Dragon, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and World of Warcraft. He also lent his voice to characters in Ghost of Tsushima.

He’s most famous for playing Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 1, Marty Mantle in Riverdale, and voicing both Appa and Momo in Netflix’s 2024 live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Robert Wu – The Snake

Robert Wu has previously taken on smaller parts in video games. He’s best known for voicing Ryuji in No More Heroes 2 and The Novelist’s Son in Death Stranding, but he’s also contributed voice work to titles like L.A. Noire, Resident Evil 6, and Meta Gear Solid 4.

He’s appeared in a variety of film and television projects, including Family Guy, Criminal Minds, and Logan. He even took on the role of Ming the Merciless in a memorable, and somewhat strange, hallucination sequence in Ted.

Nelson Lee – The Spider

Although Nelson Lee doesn’t have a long list of video game credits – he provided extra voices for 2005’s The Warriors, and will appear in Yōtei and Black Ops 7 later this year – he’s been in many film and television productions.

Last year, he took on the role of Tony in Alex Garland’s Civil War, and portrayed Senator Xiono in a couple of episodes of Ahsoka. He’s also been in shows like Stargirl, the live-action Mulan movie, and various installments of the Law & Order series.

David Sakurai – The Dragon

David Sakurai is an actor who hasn’t done much gaming, except for voicing Ashikaga Yoshiaki in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Lars Okada in MindsEye. However, he does have a solid background in film and television. He’s appeared in quite a few roles outside of gaming.

Some of Hiroyuki Sanada’s most recognizable roles include Krall in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Colonel Saito in The Man in the High Castle, and Scythe in Iron Fist. He’s also a skilled martial artist and choreographer, proficient in styles like Muay Thai and Wing Chun.

Noshir Jalal – Jubei

Over the past ten years, Noshir Jalal has lent his voice to some incredibly popular games. He’s known for playing characters like Charles Smith in Red Dead Redemption 2, Mysterio in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (and also in Fortnite), Bode Akuna in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Rain in Mortal Kombat 1, and Kotallo in Horizon Forbidden West.

Regarding his work in film and television, he’s appeared in several minor roles, such as Dr. Rajan Savarimuthu in some episodes of Candela Obscura.

Jeannie Bolet – Oyuki

Many people likely recognize Jeannie Bolet as the voice of Echo from the Overwatch series. However, she’s also lent her voice to other popular games, including Hogwarts Legacy, World of Warcraft, and the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077.

Regarding television, she’s appeared in small parts on shows including NCIS: Origins, Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, and Criminal Minds.

Suzie Yeung – Kiku

Suzie Yeung has become a popular voice actor in many recent video games, bringing well-known characters to life. She’s the voice of Eula in Genshin Impact, Yuffie in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Juno in Fire Emblem Heroes, Ochette in Octopath Traveler 2, Hanya in Honkai: Star Rail, Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals, and, most recently, Hinako in Silent Hill f.

Beyond video games, she’s voiced characters in popular anime series like Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. She also provides the English voice for Makima in Chainsaw Man.
