Lori Loughlinand Mossimo Giannulli have separated.

“They are living apart,” her rep told PeopleOct. 2, “and taking a break from their marriage.”
Although the couple-parents to daughters Bella Rose Giannulli, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26-have separated, a representative stated, “They are not currently involved in any legal battles.”

As reported by several news sources, Lori, 61, and Mossimo, 62, put their home in Hidden Hills, California, up for sale earlier in the year. They originally bought the property in August 2020, which was the same month they were both sentenced for their involvement in the college admissions scandal.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was *so* excited when I found out that last September, Lori and Mossimo took a trip to Sardinia, Italy with their daughters and, get this, Jacob Elordi – Olivia’s boyfriend! Seriously, dream vacation crew! And it gets even better – five months before that, Lori actually *opened up* in her first big interview since getting out of prison in 2020. She talked all about how much she’s grown since then, after everything with the college admissions scandal. I’ve been following her journey so closely, and it’s amazing to see!
“I’m a kind and strong person,” she shared with First For Women in April. “I’m also open to life and new experiences, and I feel incredibly grateful. So, I’d describe myself as strong, grateful, open-minded, and kind.”
Although Lori has generally kept her personal life, including her marriage and family, out of the public eye, she recently shared how difficult times have given her valuable life lessons.
As an actress, I get used to hearing ‘no,’ so I focus on being true to myself and pushing through, trying not to let negative comments bother me,” she explained. “My main advice is to simply keep going. Everyone experiences ups and downs – that’s just part of life. I believe you need to bounce back when things get tough. Nobody ever promised life would be easy. There’s joy to be found, but also challenges.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always believed in the power of letting go. I really try to live by being a forgiving person – I just don’t dwell on things. Honestly, everyone goes through tough times. We’ve all been in situations where we need to ask for forgiveness, but I’ve found that to truly *receive* it, you also need to understand and practice giving forgiveness. It’s a two-way street, and learning that balance is so important for a happier life. Forgiveness isn’t just about others; it’s about freeing yourself.
Indeed, that mindset began when the When Calls the Heart alum was younger.
My family didn’t believe in holding onto anger,” she said. “I was raised believing that everyone makes mistakes and deserves forgiveness. No one is perfect, so I was always encouraged to move on and not dwell on things.”
Lori explained, “To protect your well-being, it’s important to release negativity and not dwell on things you can’t change. Life is simply too short to hold onto bad feelings.”

In a statement, they explained that, as parents of two children, they wanted to personally share their decision.
