He mentioned this on an episode of the New Heights podcast in July 2023, while discussing the Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium.

You know, from what I’m hearing, Taylor says Travis didn’t even reach out to her team to try and arrange a meeting initially. It seems like he didn’t go through the proper channels to even *begin* the conversation, which is a little surprising! It’s all about making those first moves, and apparently, that didn’t happen on his end.

She jokingly recalled in an August 2025 New Heights episode that he assumed he could simply chat with the elevator operator to gain access to her dressing room. “He genuinely acted as if knowing someone would be enough,” she said, “like he could just ‘figure it out.'”

Taylor remembered asking him about what the Super Bowl was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles. He looked across the field, and Taylor said, “saw his brother standing five feet away.”

After two years, Taylor admitted it was a bit of a crazy question to ask, considering the brothers never played on the field together at the same time because of where they played. She explained that there are certain things she will and won’t do. “I will never include a hidden message, or ‘Easter egg,’ that relates to my private life,” she said. “These will always be connected to my music, or something I’m working on.”

Although she playfully confessed that creating these clues has become “a little Zodiac killer”-like, Taylor stated she’ll continue to share them as long as her fans are having fun.

She explained that she envisions Easter eggs as something for dedicated fans. If you’re not part of the fandom and just want to enjoy the music normally, you wouldn’t even notice them. “If you know, you know,” she added.

According to Taylor, the idea of having Travis join her on stage all started out as a “bit.”

Oh my god, she *actually* said it! She was thinking about how we’re all going to be up until 4 AM after everything, just *obsessing* over the show like I am! But she gets it, you know? It’s like she understands we had to endure so much just to *watch* her – it was a total obstacle course just getting tickets and everything! And she acknowledged we did it! She said we got two wins in a row, but she specifically said we did it tonight. It’s like she was talking *directly* to me! I can’t even breathe!

The singer requested a photo showing a more candid, “behind the scenes” look, rather than a glamorous stage persona, explaining that “this album focuses on my personal struggles away from the spotlight, not what happened on stage. It truly reflects the lyrical themes and meaning of the album.”

Even though the album cover is a fresh, minty green and features Taylor in a swimming pool, she explained that the Life of a Showgirl period is represented by the color orange to reflect its cheerful and bright feeling.

It really captures the energy of what I’ve been going through,” she reflected. “And this album is about the private, internal experiences I had while on tour – a time that was so full of energy, excitement, and life.”

“We don’t,” she stated directly. “Whatever you expose your mind to, it will absorb. But anything you share online, it will destroy. I’ve worked in the music business for 20 years. It’s difficult to offend me at this point.”

Taylor jokingly pointed out, “A story can be about me, even include my name in the title, and I still might not be involved in it.”

The singer explained she’s been working on creating a healthy balance by limiting her time on social media, saying she’s been trying to “mediate a really healthy relationship with not seeing a whole lot.” She added, “I do detach from the internet in a huge way.”

Taylor explained that she spent the summer of 2025 caring for her dad after he had a quintuple bypass. She described him as the “loveliest patient ever” and said he’s been doing “incredibly well” since the surgery.
