You are so invited to Sunny Sandler‘s concert.
Adam Sandler’s 16-year-old daughter surprised everyone at his ‘You’re My Best Friend’ tour stop in Milwaukee on October 5th. She joined him on stage and her performance ended up being the highlight of the show.
A video from a comedy show, posted online, shows Sunny performing a fantastic cover of Gabby Barrett’s 2020 song “I Hope.” The audience was clearly amazed by her vocal talent and reacted enthusiastically.
The actress from *Happy Gilmore 2*, dressed casually in a T-shirt and jeans, received encouragement both verbally and musically from Adam. He played guitar and smiled, nodding along as Sunny sang.
You know, I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion about ‘nepo babies’ lately, and honestly, some of them are incredibly talented. It’s refreshing to see young people who have opportunity *and* the skills to really shine. I think it’s great when hard work and natural ability come together, regardless of family connections. They’ve earned their success!
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve always found it fascinating when people draw connections between artists and their families. Recently, someone pointed out a comedian’s talent, saying she clearly gets her performance style from her mother and her vocal ability from her father – a lovely observation about inherited talent and how family influences our passions!

Sunny is already familiar with being in the public eye. Earlier this year, she acted with her father in *Happy Gilmore 2*, and in 2023, she starred in *You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah* alongside her parents and her sister Sadie, who is 19.
For the Big Daddy actor, it’s a welcome feeling getting to work with his daughters.
“It’s just a huge relief,” Adam, 59, shared with TopMob News in July. “When your child succeeds, it’s one of the best feelings in the world. It’s similar to watching a baseball player you love get a hit – you just feel thankful and relieved.”
He continued, explaining that both of his daughters are passionate about acting. One studied it in school, and the other is currently taking acting classes in high school, and they frequently discuss it.

Adam also noted that he makes sure not to give them unsolicited advice.
He explained that he would only offer help if asked, but generally, he’s just glad to see them doing well.
