With players giving overwhelmingly positive feedback, it seems like the next Battlefield game is going to be a huge success.
Look, the Battlefield series has been a bit of a rollercoaster, honestly. Some games were amazing, others… not so much. But with the new one, Battlefield 6, EA is really hoping to knock it out of the park and make it something truly special. They want this one to be a game-changer.
The game’s beta tests have been very positive, so we’ll see if that excitement continues when the full game launches. Hopefully, the game servers can handle the number of players this weekend!
Early reviews for Battlefield 6 are starting to appear, but it’s hard to get a true sense of the game until everyone can play it and there are plenty of players in matches.
That’s why we’ve focused our review on the single-player campaign so far – it’s okay, but most players come to Battlefield for the multiplayer experience.
We described the campaign as a good introduction, like an appetizer before the main course. It effectively demonstrates the satisfying gunplay and overall visual quality of the game. However, it doesn’t really push any boundaries in terms of story, gameplay, or how immersive it is, as noted in our ongoing Battlefield 6 PS5 review.
