Capcom’s presentation at New York Comic Con didn’t reveal any new information about the upcoming *Resident Evil Requiem*. However, they later announced that pre-orders for the survival horror sequel will start on October 29th in the US.
Okay, so Capcom is finally going to announce how much *Requiem* will cost. Honestly, with *Dragon’s Dogma 2* and *Monster Hunter Wilds* both being $69.99, I’m guessing it’ll be around that price too. But the really crazy part? It already has over a million wishlists on Steam just a few weeks after they announced it! Capcom is probably expecting this game to sell *huge* before it even comes out.
So, get this – when pre-orders go live, they’re dropping a new video celebrating the whole *Resident Evil* series. It won’t have any new gameplay from *Requiem*, sadly, but it might throw us a few hints. I’m really hoping we’ll finally get a glimpse of Leon S. Kennedy – everyone’s been talking about him, but Capcom hasn’t officially shown him yet! Fingers crossed, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any clues!
The new game, *Resident Evil Requiem*, will be available on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Get ready – pre-orders for Resident Evil: Requiem start October 29th in the US! We’re also releasing a special video celebrating the entire Resident Evil series on the same day, but just a heads-up, it won’t include any new gameplay footage from Requiem. Stay tuned! #ResidentEvilRequiem
