Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans Reveals Where She and Ex David Eason Stand

Jenelle Evans is leaving her past in the past.

After finalizing her divorce from David Eason after six years of marriage, the former *Teen Mom* star recently shared whether she’s been in touch with him.

She succinctly explained during a Q&A on her Oct. 13 Instagram Stories, “F–k no.”

Does she think David, the father of her 8-year-old daughter Ensley, will try to contact her?

Jenelle—who shares 16-year-old Jace with her ex, Andrew Lewis, and 11-year-old Kaiser with her ex, Nathan Griffith—wrote, “I don’t know and I don’t care. He’s clearly still the same person I ended things with.”

Since splitting from the welder, Jenelle hasn’t been too keen on entering the dating world.

She said she’s been single since January and hasn’t gone on any dates since then. She explained that she’s become much more selective and has higher expectations, and it’s been hard to find anyone who really interests her.

The 33-year-old, who has earned over $1.5 million on OnlyFans, is now concentrating on what’s most important to her.

She told TopMob News in June that she’s starting a new phase of her life and focusing on positivity, self-discovery, and spending quality time with her children. She wants to learn to be comfortable and happy on her own.

Apparently, her children didn’t care for David. She shared that her sons were actually relieved when things ended, saying they were like, ‘Thank goodness!’

Honestly, seeing how well Ensley handled things really meant a lot to me. Jenelle said Ensley was totally unfazed, just shrugged it off with a ‘Whatever,’ which was surprisingly mature. And really, all the kids just… dealt with it. It wasn’t a hugely emotional reaction either way, they just kind of processed it and moved on, and I think they handled everything remarkably well.

Even though she doesn’t regret ending the relationship, she was still worried about making that decision.

She confessed she used to be incredibly anxious, constantly wondering if she could handle parenting her three children alone. She worried about being able to manage on her own and if her kids would respect her authority without a father figure present.

Nonetheless, it was the best choice for her. As she put it, “I am super ready for this.”

Jenelle playfully wondered where her daughter Ensley got her confident attitude, noting how much the two resemble each other. She added the hashtag “#Twinning” to highlight their similar appearances.

Jenelle celebrated Jace’s birthday in August 2023 with a sweet Instagram post. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to Jace!” and expressed how proud she is of the polite young man he’s becoming, adding that his happiness is all she wants.
