Please be aware that this article contains spoilers for the *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo* manga! Just one year after finishing *Jujutsu Kaisen*, creator Gege Akutami launched a sequel called *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*. Illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki, the story takes place in 2086, decades after the events of the Culling Game. With Sukuna and Kenjaku defeated, the world of jujutsu sorcery has enjoyed a period of peace. Though cursed spirits and curse users still exist, there hasn’t been another large-scale crisis like the Culling Game – until now. A Special Grade Incident was declared when 50,000 Simurians, an alien race possessing curse powers similar to sorcerers, arrived in Japan.
A new threat has emerged in *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*, considered as powerful as Ryomen Sukuna. Despite this, the Simurians have arrived seeking refuge, giving sorcerers no immediate reason to fight them. Both sides are working to prevent a full-scale war. The story centers on Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin, as they encounter Maru, a Simurian secretly collaborating with the sorcerers. The recent chapter reveals Maru’s incredible powers, which exceed all expectations.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo’s Main Character Has a Horrifying Ability

Okay, so Chapter 6 of *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo* just dropped, and it was *intense*! We finally see what happened after Maru got seriously hurt. It turns out he has a third eye – all Simurians do, actually – and when he opens it, wow! He completely dominates the old curse user, even forcing him to relive his loss against Yuji! Apparently, these third eyes give them different powers, and Maru’s is seriously broken. Even though he was out cold the whole time, he was manipulating reality itself! We’re talking fire, ice, even anti-gravity – he threw *everything* at this guy. Honestly, it’s a level of raw power I rarely see from human sorcerers, which makes me think the Simurians are way more powerful than anyone realizes.
Maru is incredibly powerful, and some believe he could eventually be as strong as Satoru Gojo, the most powerful sorcerer in the original story. Because he was unconscious throughout the recent battle, he likely has even more abilities he hasn’t shown yet. However, this also suggests that his fellow Simurians, particularly their leader Dabura, could be even more dangerous. Thankfully, Maru is currently allied with humanity and will probably do everything he can to prevent an upcoming war.
