The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced a wealth of fantastic characters on Disney+ shows who haven’t yet appeared in the movies. Popular heroes like She-Hulk and Moon Knight, along with compelling villains such as Agatha Harkness and Wilson Fisk, are just a few examples of the standout characters from these series. Shows like *WandaVision* and *Ms. Marvel* are crucial for understanding the MCU’s intricate and expanding universe. While some supporting characters have been largely overlooked since their initial appearances, it’s a great time to revisit them and appreciate their contributions to the success of Marvel’s TV shows.
These five characters from Marvel TV shows were really well-received when their shows aired, but people may not remember them as much now.
5) Sharon Davis/Mrs. Hart
Sharon Davis, played by Debra Jo Rupp and often remembered as Mrs. Hart, is a standout minor character in *WandaVision* and particularly shines in the song *Agatha All Along*. As a lively resident of Westview, she quickly steals the show whenever she appears, especially during Wanda and Vision’s dinner party, perfectly embodying the show’s classic sitcom vibe.
After breaking free from Wanda’s control in *Agatha All Along*, Sharon adds a lot of fun to the Witches’ Road journey. Even though she’s ultimately chosen as a sacrifice during the coven’s first challenge, Sharon manages to make a few witty remarks and offers helpful advice that allows the group to succeed. She’s a kind and memorable character in the MCU TV series, and it’s disappointing that she probably won’t be back.
4) Red Dagger
Aramis Knight plays Kareem, also known as Red Dagger, in *Ms. Marvel*, and despite his limited appearance, he made a strong impression. He initially fights Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) after they meet, showcasing his impressive fighting skills with daggers and quick reflexes. Eventually, Red Dagger becomes an ally, helping Kamala fight the Clandestines. His performance proves he’s a highly skilled fighter who could be a valuable addition to any future Marvel Cinematic Universe project. The scenes he’s in are among the most exciting in the show, and his connection with Kamala deserves further development.
3) Madisynn
Madisynn, played by Patty Guggenheim in *She-Hulk: Attorney at Law*, is arguably the funniest character in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite appearing briefly alongside Wong (Benedict Wong), she instantly stands out with her playful and quirky personality. Her hilarious moments – like watching *The Sopranos* with Wong (whom she affectionately calls “Wongers”) and a quick courtroom appearance – have made her a fan favorite. Madisynn and Wong are a surprisingly heartwarming pair, and many fans would love to see her return. With Wong’s role in the upcoming *Avengers: Doomsday*, there’s a perfect chance to bring Madisynn back for a cameo and remind everyone just how delightful she is.
2) Lucky the Pizza Dog
Lucky the Pizza Dog is a lovable and heartwarming character in the show *Hawkeye*. Kate Bishop rescues him from the streets of New York, and he quickly becomes her devoted companion. Lucky shows his bravery by biting a member of the Tracksuit Mafia and later relaxing with a slice of pizza at Kate’s place. He’s fiercely loyal to Kate, and she repeatedly saves him from harm throughout the series.
Lucky the pizza-loving dog consistently steals the spotlight whenever he appears with Kate, and he even became the adorable center of attention during Clint Barton’s family Christmas! It’s a shame so few fans discuss him now that he hasn’t been seen in four years, but a return would undoubtedly make him instantly popular again. Pets haven’t traditionally played a big role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making Lucky a truly unique and memorable character.
1) Layla El-Faouly
I really enjoyed Layla El-Faouly when *Moon Knight* first came out – she was such a great character! It’s a shame we haven’t seen anything happen with her story since then, and she’s kind of been forgotten. I loved how she started as this really capable archaeologist, married to Marc Spector, and then became this powerful hero, the Scarlet Scarab, basically the avatar of the Egyptian goddess Taweret. Seeing her with those amazing gold wings, fighting alongside Moon Knight against Arthur Harrow and Ammit in Giza was a highlight of the show!
The Scarlet Scarab is a brave, strong, and skilled fighter with a lot of promise as a Marvel Cinematic Universe character. Her roots in Egyptian mythology set her apart, and her connection to Moon Knight’s different personalities adds depth to her story. Bringing Layla back in a future MCU film or series would definitely excite fans.
