Okay, so the newest Pokémon game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, just dropped! I’m super excited because it’s out now on both Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2. They released a launch trailer, and I already checked it out – it gives you a quick peek at the gameplay and the world, which looks awesome!
Taking place in Lumiose City in the Kalos region, *Z-A* builds on the gameplay of *Pokémon Legends: Arceus*, using a similar battle system. Players can smoothly switch between exploring, capturing Pokémon, and battling in real time, giving commands to their team as they go. The game also introduces new features like Z-A Royale, where trainers compete against each other for the chance to reach rank A and have a wish fulfilled.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A will feature challenging battles against powerful, unique Pokémon, as well as a new multiplayer Link Battle mode. Currently, the game has a Metascore of 80 on Metacritic (based on 49 reviews), putting it on par with Pokémon Sword and Shield. You can find more information in our detailed feature.
