Although *Assetto Corsa EVO* is still being worked on, KUNOS Simulazioni is releasing a new game in the series next month. *Assetto Corsa Rally*, developed by Supernova Games Studios, will be available on PC through Steam Early Access starting November 13th. You can watch the first trailer below.
Assetto Corsa Rally is being described as a realistic and intense rally racing experience. It will feature dynamic day/night transitions, changing weather conditions that affect how you drive, and the same high-quality physics engine as the original Assetto Corsa. When the game enters early access, players will have access to ten officially licensed cars, including classic models like the 1976 Lancia Stratos Gr.4 and Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4, as well as more modern vehicles like the 2020 Peugeot 208 Rally4.
The game will feature four challenging “Special Stages” set in places like Alsace and Wales. These stages will use highly detailed, 33-kilometer routes created with laser scanning technology. Beyond realistic engine and environmental sounds, the game’s co-driver system will provide authentic guidance, including voices and timing cues recorded with the help of professional rally drivers.
The game will feature a wide variety of content, including over 30 cars, a Rally School, five international rally events, and a Career Mode. Players can expect to race on more than 120 kilometers of accurately reproduced roads. The developers aim to finish the early access period within 18 months, and pricing information will be announced soon. Keep an eye out for future updates!
