The *Halo* series used to define the shooter genre, but it’s faced some challenges recently. While *Halo Infinite*, released in 2021, had some good parts, its multiplayer wasn’t very impressive. Before that, *Halo 5* disappointed fans with a story that didn’t quite hit the mark. Because of this, players are really hoping the next *Halo* game will revitalize the franchise. A brief preview in late September has built anticipation for a new announcement expected this month.
Halo Studios hinted at a major announcement coming at the Halo World Championship on October 24th, but didn’t specify exactly when it would happen. Now that the full schedule for the championship is out, Halo fans know the announcement will be made at 1 PM PDT on October 24th. If you’re excited to see what Halo Studios has been up to, be sure to tune in – it sounds like a significant reveal!

The main Championship event lasts three days, from October 24th to October 26th. But the excitement will actually begin earlier, as Halo Studios plans to unveil their latest project to start the weekend off strong. Here are the important times to note in the schedule:
- October 24th at 1 PM PDT / 4 PM EDT: Halo Studios Project Update – Main Stage
- October 24th at 2 PM PDT / 5 PM EDT: Halo Studios Project Deep Dive – Community Stage
We’re getting a two-hour presentation of the next *Halo* game. It will begin with a broad overview on the main stage, then move to a detailed look at the game on the community stage. You can watch both events live on Twitch and YouTube, but you’ll need to switch between the two platforms to see everything.
What exactly will be shown remains a mystery, but it’s whatever Halo Studios has been developing after *Halo Infinite*. Rumors point towards a remake of the original *Halo: Combat Evolved*, and many fans are hoping that’s what will be revealed in this presentation.
Next year marks a major milestone for the *Halo* franchise, as it will be its 25th anniversary in November 2026. A remastered version of the original game would be a perfect way to celebrate, but so far, it hasn’t been officially announced, despite some hints. This leaves the door open for Halo Studios to potentially reveal something completely different.
Halo fans should definitely watch the Halo World Championship stream on October 24th at 1 PM Pacific Time / 4 PM Eastern Time. We’re hoping to see something that revitalizes the Halo series and gets it back on track.
