Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are keeping it 100 on the land, the sea, the sky—and at 1587 Prime.  

Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ decisive 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on October 19th, singer Sabrina Carpenter joined tight end Travis Kelce, his teammates, and Chiefs staff for a celebratory meal at Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City steakhouse.

On October 19th, Joann Jordan, wife of Chiefs trainer Rob Jordan, posted a photo on Instagram showing Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dining with her, Rob, and Chiefs marketing manager Atipa Mabonga at Travis’s new restaurant.

Travis looked happy in the photo, wearing a stylish light blue polo shirt. Taylor smiled softly, accessorizing with red and gold jewelry to support the Chiefs.

Taylor Swift was spotted at another Kansas City Chiefs game with her dad, Scott. Photos online show them enthusiastically watching the game and supporting Travis Kelce’s team. Scott was even wearing a hat from Travis’s clothing line with American Eagle.

Taylor has been quietly supportive of her boyfriend on the Chiefs this football season, with understated appearances at his games. However, she’s never been more open about how deeply in love she is with her fiancé, whom she announced she would marry in August.

Taylor recently shared the story of how Travis proposed to her right after they finished recording an episode of the New Heights podcast earlier that month.

Taylor explained on *The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon* that she believes Travis Kelce created a podcast as a way to keep her attention focused inside and prevent her from noticing the extensive security measures around the house. She noted that every window had blackout curtains, and she was impressed by how seriously he took protecting her privacy.

Taylor soon understood that appearing on Travis’ podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, was only the first step in a series of events that would lead to her finding happiness.

Taylor remembered thinking that the man seemed really anxious about the podcast. She said she’d never seen him act like that before.

Taylor was thrilled when Travis proposed to her over wine in his Kansas City backyard. She described it as a dream come true, saying, “It was exactly what I’d hoped for.”

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on just any day – it would likely be a date with special significance, especially for Taylor.

Taylor Swift, a known enthusiast of numbers and dates, shared her love of numerology on the August 13th episode of the New Heights podcast. Her two-hour conversation with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, aired 13 days before they publicly announced their engagement. However, Travis’s father mentioned they had already told close friends and family about their relationship three days prior to the podcast release. Swift described finding this type of number-based exploration ‘really fun.’

Travis is turning 36 on October 5th, and his decision about whether to continue playing in the NFL after his current contract ends in 2025 will influence when he and his partner get married. If he doesn’t retire from football, they plan to have their wedding during the off-season, sometime between February after the Super Bowl and the start of training camp in July.

As a huge fan, it’s still so strange to even *think* about Travis potentially retiring after 13 seasons! But if he does, it would open things up for a wedding – and I’m crossing my fingers it could be in October, Taylor’s favorite month! Of course, everything depends on when Taylor announces tour dates for her new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*. She usually lets us know about tours within a month of a brand-new album coming out, not a re-recording, and *The Life of a Showgirl* is coming out October 3rd, so we’re all eagerly watching for any hints!

Taylor Swift is famous for her close group of friends, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hasn’t even started planning a bachelorette party for herself.

She confessed on Heart radio that people might assume she’d always dreamed of her wedding, but she actually never gave it any thought until she found the right person. Before that, she hadn’t imagined any details about her special day.

I honestly hadn’t given any thought to having a hen do – it’s only just crossed my mind, actually.

Plus, she added of her gal pals, “They’re so fun but they’re so busy.”

When Taylor picks out a white dress, it’s going to be one to remember.

Ignoring the cost of her clothes and jewelry, the singer’s style is comfortably stylish. She favors timeless looks with a modern edge, often choosing designs from established brands like Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton, Zuhair Murad, and J. Mendel.

After the wedding ceremony, where she’ll wear a beautiful gown, the tall bride – she’s 5’10” – will change into a more comfortable dress so she can dance all night.

We’re excited to see how she incorporates the traditional wedding elements – something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.

Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really expresses his personality.

He proposed while wearing shorts – it was a hot August day in Kansas! – and that led to some jokes online about him wearing shorts for the wedding too. But that would be a pretty unconventional choice, and he probably wants the focus to be on his partner, who will be wearing a beautiful dress.

Although, if showing off his knees was important to him…

Taylor Swift addressed concerns about overplanning her future wedding, telling *Cosmopolitan* in 2012 that she wanted to make sure her husband-to-be felt his presence truly mattered, and clarified she hadn’t even chosen his tuxedo yet.

Taylor and Travis both deeply value family, so their parents and brothers will definitely be special guests at the wedding. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, has two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, who are expected to be flower girls. Depending on the wedding date, his younger daughter, Bennett, might also get to participate. Unfortunately, the youngest, baby Finnley, will probably be too young to stay up for the celebration.

It will be interesting to see which of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one teammate will be there. Plus, he’s maintained a close group of friends from his high school days in Cleveland Heights, so his bachelor party – filled with golf and drinks – is going to be a lot of fun.

Taylor Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, continues to be a close and important person in her life. Although Taylor’s group of friends has changed over time, Selena Gomez remains a part of her closest circle, exchanging gifts and support. Despite recent reports about a disagreement related to the actress’s legal issues, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still considered close friends as well.

And speaking of who might be a flower girl, it’s so sweet – Taylor is already like family to Blake and Ryan, being godmother to their daughters! It just feels right that she’d be involved in any future celebrations.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just people who like bands over DJs, you know?”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

Even if the bride doesn’t perform, she has many friends who are talented singers. We’re particularly hoping to see Haim take the stage!

But Taylor joked it “would be hard to keep” Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding. 

She explained that Ed Sheeran feels compelled to perform whenever there’s a stage available. During an interview with Hits Radio in October 2025, she said he understands what his audience enjoys and is dedicated to delivering it.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

If Travis continues to play sports, he might wear a flexible wedding band to protect the ring, but generally, he’s chosen an Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry for his future wife.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side, all set in yellow gold that’s been specially engraved. It perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when proposing.

Just how massive will this white veil occasion be?

Comedian Nikki Glaser, a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift fan, believes a large wedding is coming for the singer. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “It has to be. It’s all been leading to this.”

The comedian pointed out that because Taylor Swift is constantly in the spotlight – essentially treated like a bride every day – her wedding will probably be kept as private as possible.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the celebration with everyone they care about, as they have a large circle of friends and family. She jokingly predicted that someone will likely try to disrupt the joy by taking unwanted helicopter photos from above.

As soon as the wedding celebrations are over, Taylor will definitely begin sharing photos and details from her special day with her fans.
