In the photos, Diesel is wearing a shirt for “Fast X Part 2,” indicating production will take place in Los Angeles in 2025. The video features Moses excitedly sharing updates, saying, “I’m drifting with Dom Toretto, planning everything, we got it solved,” as he and Diesel drove around the studio in a go-kart. Although there’s no official news yet about when filming will begin or when the movie will be released, Vin Diesel meeting with a Universal executive is a positive sign. It suggests everyone involved still wants to reach an agreement and move forward with Fast X – Part 2. Recent reports highlighted some serious disagreements between the filmmakers and the studio, but completely cancelling the film always seemed unlikely. Despite the franchise potentially losing some of its appeal in recent years, it’s still a major priority for Universal, and there’s too much financial risk to abandon the final installment.
