Tonight, there will be no episodes of ITV soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street because they are making way for the upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 match on their schedule instead.
This evening (on Monday, 7th July), Portugal and Italy will face each other in the second set of Group B games. The broadcast will start at 7:15 pm and continue until 10:20 pm, replacing soap operas on television.
Typically, Coronation Street broadcasts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8 PM, while Emmerdale airs every day at 7:30 PM. However, things are different this week.
Based on the changes in tonight’s broadcast plan, “Corrie” will be aired on Thursday, 10th July at a later time of 9 pm, and another episode will follow on Friday, 11th July at 8 pm.
Emmerdale will get a little more exposure, as it’s set to air regularly on Tuesdays. However, there won’t be an episode on Wednesday because ITV1 is broadcasting a match between France and Wales starting at 7pm. The show resumes its standard hour-long format on Thursday at 7:30pm and retains its usual time slot on Friday as well.

This week brings lots of suspense to the cobblestones and the village, as we’re about to uncover who assaulted Gary, leaving him unconscious at Weatherfield General. Neither Maria nor Liam are informed about his location.
In another part of Emmerdale, Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) unexpectedly lands in a tricky situation. Doctor Crowley (James Hillier) abducts him and transports him to an improvised medical facility.
Fans will have to tune in to see what trouble awaits him.
