And then there were 11…
After four days of intense challenges, two more recruits have been eliminated from season four of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
On the October 23rd episode of the Fox show, several of the celebrity contestants confessed they were finding the physically demanding military-style challenges difficult.
Former NBA player Nick Young woke up on day five and was upset, saying, “My knee is really swollen and injured. I’ll be sidelined for about a month.”
Actor Ravi V. Patel echoed the sentiments, noting, “I’m in pain today.”
Plus, model Chanel Iman added, “I’ve never felt so old in my life. Can’t keep up.”
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen this tactic used a lot – the boot camp leaders decided they needed to figure out who was truly committed and who was struggling. So, they came up with a way to separate those who were really dedicated from the ones who weren’t quite keeping up. It’s about identifying who’s going to thrive and who needs extra support, or perhaps isn’t a good fit for the intense program.
Jason Fox explained that some participants are struggling and holding others back. He believes it’s necessary to remove those who can’t keep up to ensure the rest of the group succeeds.
Mark Billingham agreed by chiming in with, “We need to go into another gear. Let’s ramp it up.”
After gathering the remaining 13 celebs at camp, Rudy Reyes gave the recruits an ultimatum.
He challenged them, asking if they were truly prepared for the challenge ahead. He explained that pushing their limits in sports or entertainment wouldn’t compare to the intense pressure and responsibility of serving in Special Forces.

Look, as someone who’s seen a lot of transformations, I always say this: commitment is everything. If you’re truly not ready to give this program your all – if you’re doubting whether it’s right for you – please, be honest with yourself and with us. If that’s the case, just step forward and return your armband. This isn’t about being polite; it’s about respecting everyone’s time and energy, and making sure everyone here is fully invested in their own success.
And with that, an exhausted Young removed his armband and declared, “I’m ready to go.”
Patel, looking just as tired as the athlete, also stopped competing right before the challenging obstacle course on day five.

Reyes stated firmly, “Anyone who isn’t fully committed to this training, anyone who doesn’t intend to give it their all, should stand up now and return their armband.”
And with that, an exhausted Young removed his armband and declared, “I’m ready to go.”
Patel, looking as exhausted as the athlete, suddenly stopped competing alongside him, and both walked off the set before the day’s obstacle course began.
