Fumi Games just released a new trailer for their game, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, and shared some good news about its release date. Originally planned for 2025, the game will now launch on March 19th, 2026, and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the new Nintendo Switch 2.
The latest trailer showcases gameplay from the upcoming P.I. Jack Pepper, featuring everything from solving number puzzles to fast-paced action with guns, explosives, and even a buzzsaw. The game is set in the seedy city of Mouseburg, where Pepper investigates a conspiracy that appears to go all the way to the top.
I’m really loving the art style of this game – it totally nails that classic 1930s rubberhose animation! But it’s not just pretty to look at, either. They’ve clearly taken inspiration from those old cartoons, like letting you get stronger by ‘eating’ spinach, just like Popeye! And the world of Mouseburg is packed with stuff to do. It’s not just a straight path – you can explore docks, sewers, and even a movie studio. There are tons of little mini-games and collectibles hidden everywhere as you try to solve the mystery. It’s a really cool, detailed place!
We’ll share more about MOUSE: P.I. For Hire soon, so keep an eye out! You can also see the sci-fi weapons Jack uses in the game here.
