Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is one of the first Call of Duty games released since Microsoft acquired the franchise, and like Black Ops 6, it will be a key title available on Xbox Game Pass.
If you want to play on your console using Game Pass, you’ll need the new $30 per month Ultimate plan. If you mainly play on PC, you can save money by sticking with the standard PC Game Pass instead.
Call of Duty’s upcoming Black Ops 7 is looking very promising. The recent test version generated a lot of excitement, and the game’s creators, Treyarch, have already implemented improvements based on player feedback.
We’re making some big changes! Skill-based matchmaking will be used much less often by default. We’re also looking at ways to make aim assist less powerful, and we’re adding persistent lobbies so you can keep playing with the same people.
The maps we’ve played so far are a noticeable step up from those in Black Ops 6. Even though we only got a brief look, each map was well-designed and featured a classic three-lane layout, which is a welcome change from some of the maps in this year’s game.
We haven’t gotten a good look at the campaign yet, but developers have promised a full storyline and a unique unlockable camouflage to earn through gameplay this year. Zombies were briefly featured in the beta test, and based on what we’ve played so far, the overall experience feels similar to Black Ops 6, although the story will continue to unfold.
All will be revealed when Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
