The new Halo: Combat Evolved remake will fully utilize the features of the DualSense controller, enhancing the gameplay experience.
The digital store page for the game remake is now available, letting you add it to your wishlist. It confirms the game will fully support the PlayStation 5 controller, taking advantage of features like vibration and adaptive triggers.
It’s exciting to consider how these improvements will enhance Halo’s gameplay. With some development effort from Halo Studios, iconic weapons like the Needler could feel fantastic when played with a PlayStation 5 controller.

I haven’t heard anything yet about whether the game will be optimized for the PS5 Pro, but since it’s not coming out until 2026, I’m guessing we’ll find out more details closer to the release date.
Games like The Outer Worlds 2 haven’t fully showcased what Sony’s powerful hardware can do. We’re hoping the developers have worked hard to optimize Halo: Campaign Evolved, especially since it’s built with Unreal Engine 5 and should really shine on the PS5 Pro’s upgraded features.
Get ready to experience Halo like never before with full DualSense controller support! Let us know if you’re excited in the comments!
