Ms. Rachel has some big feelings when it comes to screen time.
The well-known YouTuber who creates videos for children recently shared her thoughts on how much time babies and kids should spend looking at screens. She explained why she believes a little bit of screen time can actually be okay.
Ms. Rachel recently told Glamour that finding balance is key, both in life and for raising children. She explained that everyday tasks like chores can be tiring, and sometimes, when kids are fussy, a little distraction can be helpful.
As a lifestyle expert, I get asked about screen time constantly. It’s a tricky topic, and honestly, even the experts are still figuring it all out. But the general consensus, and what I recommend, is to avoid screens for babies under 18 months unless it’s for video chatting with family. After that, screen time should be very limited. Why? Because too much can really interfere with sleep, cut into reading time, and discourage kids from getting enough exercise – all things crucial for healthy development.
But Ms. Rachel (real name Rachel Accurso) sees the benefit of some screen time for younger kids.
She told Glamour that it’s okay to use technology when you’re sick or traveling, like watching shows on planes. However, she emphasized the importance of finding a healthy balance and not overdoing it.

Rachel, a mother to Thomas, 7, Susannah, 6 months, and Aron Accurso, emphasized that it’s important for parents to consistently interact with their children, keeping a healthy balance in mind.
As someone who’s studied early childhood development, I’ve learned how crucial those back-and-forth interactions are for babies and toddlers – those under three years old. Experts at Harvard call them ‘serve-and-return.’ It’s something as simple as being at the grocery store: your little one points at something, and you respond with excitement, like, ‘Oh, you see the apples!’ They might say ‘Yeah!’ and you can build on that – ‘Wow, should we get one? Let’s pick out an apple!’ It’s all about acknowledging their attempts to connect and responding in a way that encourages further interaction.
According to this online personality, simply talking about what’s happening throughout the day and having conversations with your kids is vital for their growth, and it’s something screens can’t offer. However, that doesn’t mean screens are never useful.
Ms. Rachel believes it’s unrealistic to expect parents to completely avoid screens. She feels parents often carry unnecessary guilt and shouldn’t feel so bad about using them.

She draws a lot of inspiration from the shows she enjoyed as a child when creating content for her YouTube channel. She originally started the channel to support her son Thomas, who was experiencing a speech delay.
She spoke fondly of Mister Rogers, saying she’s always been a big fan. He was a real role model for her. She also shared her love for Sesame Street, explaining that PBS was incredibly important to her childhood.
Rachel explained that she grew up watching a lot of TV because her mom worked a lot and wasn’t always available.
“We turned on the TV a lot, and I learned a ton from PBS,” she continued, “and I turned out okay.”

Okay, so I was scrolling through Twitter and someone dared to suggest Jason Kelce doesn’t wash his legs or feet! Can you believe the nerve? And then he saw it! In June 2024, he actually tweeted back, like, ‘What kind of weirdo washes their feet…’ It was amazing! He’s so perfect, even when he’s playfully defending his…leg hygiene. Honestly, it just made me love him more!
The retired Philadelphia Eagles player later doubled down on his comments.
On his podcast, New Heights with his brother Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes jokingly asked, “What kind of person washes someone else’s feet?” He then added that he would scrub off any visible dirt, though.

More than ten years after actor Kristen Stewart shared a story about witnessing a clown’s death in a car explosion at the circus when he was a child, he confessed that the story was fabricated.
Robert remembered telling The New York Times Style Magazine in December 2024 that he reacted with complete surprise. He said he immediately asked, ‘What on earth is going on? Are you possessed?’
As for what he said during the 2011 Today interview promoting his film Water for Elephants?
He explained that one of the clowns had died in an accident. Their small car exploded while they were performing, and it was a very frightening experience for everyone who witnessed it. People immediately rushed out of the area.

Grandma knows best.
In an October 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian shared a personal story about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, unexpectedly played a role in a private moment with her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Kim Kardashian told MJ, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian that she and Pete Davidson were at the Beverly Hills Hotel when she remembered something her grandmother told her: ‘You truly live life when you have sex in front of a fireplace.’ Inspired by this, she and Pete ended up having sex in front of the fireplace as a tribute to Kris.
Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.
Kim found it unsettling to think about her grandmother before intimacy, and MJ responded by saying she understood, but she hadn’t always been as mature.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a very close family, including their children, 8-year-old Wyatt and 6-year-old Dimitri, and their love for each other is limitless.
So much so, that the Black Swan actress revealed they keep an open-door policy at home.
She told TopMob News in September 2022 that this also applies to bathroom habits. She explained it’s just become normal for her family and children to openly discuss and accept natural bodily functions.
Mila explained she decided to just leave the door open because her family kept coming to the door and asking to be let in. She said she finally thought, ‘Okay, fine, just let them in.’
Pre-kids, she might not have imagined she’d flush that particular boundary away.
She said she never imagined she’d be comfortable enough to use the restroom with the door open.

Ghouls just want to have fun.
Oh my gosh, I was watching The View when Sara Haines asked the most incredible question! They were talking about this woman who believed her house was haunted by… well, sexual ghosts, and Sara just blurted out, ‘Seriously, if you had a… relationship with a ghost, could you actually get pregnant?’ I’ve been thinking about it ever since! It was the most amazing, bizarre, and thought-provoking thing I’ve ever heard on daytime TV. I immediately had to rewind it like five times!
Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, chimed in with a humorous response: “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”
“I’m going to leave that statement as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m not going to comment on it further.”

Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are very close friends, but Hoda recently learned something surprising about her “Today” co-host. While preparing for an episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna,” Hoda found out that Jenna always goes without underwear.
Hoda recounted a moment on the November 2022 episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna when they both realized they needed to quickly return to the dressing room. She then shared a surprising observation: Jenna doesn’t wear underwear.
Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.
She explained that the style creates a more flattering shape and also makes packing easier, adding that there are many other benefits too.

Looks like someone hasn’t been keeping up.
Britney Spears related to a popular line from Keke Palmer – “He could be walking down the street, I wouldn’t know a thing” – and confessed she wasn’t familiar with Pete Davidson or Scott Disick.
Britney shared a funny video from March showing Pete Davidson—who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time—and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, having a night out. She said the video had her laughing a lot.
Britney explained she was resharing the video, though she didn’t know the people in it, saying it had made her laugh a lot.

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a handsome and charming guy.
The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. She doesn’t remember exactly how many times they went out, but she does remember the last time they saw each other.
Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had some friends visiting from Boston.
Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her partner going to the bathroom right after she’d used it, noting that eating asparagus can change the smell of urine. They didn’t end up intimate that night; he stayed up late with friends, and the next morning, Jana quietly left his house, feeling embarrassed.
She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.
In December, television writer Elisabeth Finch confessed that she had fabricated a story about having a rare form of bone cancer. She had originally shared this false diagnosis in an ELLE article eight years prior, and it even became the basis for a plotline on the show Grey’s Anatomy.
Elisabeth recently shared with The Ankler newsletter that a lie she told at age 34 was the biggest regret of her life. She explained that the lie grew over time, becoming a heavy burden she kept hidden. She also clarified that she has never been diagnosed with cancer.
Finch, who stepped down from his role on the ABC medical show after being temporarily suspended, admitted, “I made a mistake. It was completely unacceptable and wrong, in every way.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.
The reality star told The New York Times she’d consider almost any procedure to look younger.
She admitted in June that she’d even consider something extreme – like eating something disgusting daily – if it meant she could look younger. She emphasized she was serious, saying, ‘I just might.’
In a July 2022 interview with Allure magazine, Kim admitted she was mostly joking when she made the comment, but also thought it wasn’t such a bad idea.
Kim thought for a moment and then said, ‘Honestly, I’d probably eat something awful if someone promised it would make me look younger – even if it was a bowl of poop every day!’
Asked if she had any appetite, she said, “Perhaps just a small bite.” She added that she didn’t think she could manage a full bowl of food.

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.
During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer of “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t hesitate to tell all the details.
“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”
To be honest, Jelly Roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.
He firmly believed it was just a misunderstanding. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience change from supportive to completely against me.”
